Hey guys, I seriously was not trying to troll or stir the pot when I first posted this article earlier today.

I genuinely thought it was a valid topic of discussion that might be of interest to a large enough niche here to be worth posting. Assuming that a small portion of our population will choose to legally carry concealed weapons and firearms, would it not be preferable to have them inconspicuously attired and blend in as much as possible?

Also no offense to those here who might wear 5.11 Tactical cloths in their day-to-day lives, but usually that type of outfit tends to scream out "Gun Nut". Might as well throw in the latest issue of Guns & Ammo to complete the look. These options that are coming out recently seems to dial that aesthetic way way down.

Also, while there are other existing EDC and Concealed Carry threads here, none really discussed the recent clothing developments for the menswear audience on SF.

If there is a better forum or board where one could discuss the relative merits of Woolrich's decision to bring to market their Elite Concealed Carry Chinos please feel free to point me in that direction.

I just figured there might be some gun owners here who have an appreciation for menswear but also happens to have a firearm or weapon on them at all times and would like to have the best of both worlds.

^I'm actually looking at a 26 or a Springfield XD Sub-Compact in 9mm as my carry.

Good bets. Kel Tec is another very popular EDC choice. Obviously, the main "complaint" about subcompacts is the added recoil but I can't say it's completely unmanageable.

I genuinely thought it was a valid topic of discussion that might be of interest to a large enough niche here to be worth posting.

It is. This is a perfectly acceptable thread. The only people in here adding conflict are the ones that don't pertain to this thread and merely wish to include their own agendas. Please, carry on and ignore.

Thread cleaned up. Stick to the clothes (and guns, I guess, within the topic), and keep the politics in CE.

And please don't report threads about specific types of clothing to me as political trolling. It's not my job to deal with your neuroses.

i carry an xd subcompact 9mm... good size generally, but it is still slightly tricky to conceal in tailored clothing.

my father in law bought a .380 with a pocket holster, looks like a wallet, as was mentioned before.
