How do the Minimalist DNA linen pants fit compared to the Soft J pants? Deciding between the two and anyone with fit pics or a link to the collection pics would serve ideal for me to decide.

DNA pants fit tighter than the J pants. I wear a 50 in J's, 48 in DNA. Both run a bit big in the thigh. I don't know what your wardrobe is like, but the DNA pants are more aggressive than the J pants (if that makes sense).

Cant determine which is which from
Those pica on fb. Are the dna pants drop crotch?

No. You should send Zam a PM on SZ. I'm sure he will answer any questions you have about the pants.

last page reads like zamb collections are some sort of quixotic adventure in cryptology and ciphers ... it's really not that complicated.

will post pics of minimalist linen trousers and linen on linen scarf at some point maybe

Got in touch with Zam. Great dude. Will be getting the DNA pants as they are slimmer. Lets see how they turn up. Is there Anything else i should be getting in his current stock clearout?

I have the dna linen pants, a sweater, and a l/s tee. They all fit wonderfully. Sometimes I wish the materials were a tad better, but when comparing quality and prices, zam beats the majority of the brands on sz or sf. So label under construction or ccp has slightly quality material, but fuck, they're over 4 times the price....

I'll be getting the dna overlock and another l/s tee soon and report back on them.

Whoever said ZB is hard to style, is nuts. I mean, if you are styling them with Common Projects, yeah, it's tough, but that's because you're an idiot...
ZB is very easy to style with Augusta, MA+, Label Under Construction, Carpe Diem, Form D'Expression, Julius, Rick, Ann, Individual Sentiments, Augusta, etc...

Hell, you can even wear his basics with jeans.

The label is growing a lot. He didn't come from money and he didn't take out a huge loan out to start the brand. He saved money, and is growing the brand as the brand develops.

So I'm considering buying his minimalist DNA pants but he doesn't have pricing. Will he tell me the price after I PM him or should I send him an offer? If the latter, what would be an appropriate price? I don't want to insult him but I also want to come out with my wallet intact. satisfied.gif

i think the sample price or whatever is probably between 200-300 bucks. cant remember what i paid for my winterweight ones...prob somewhere around 300...

this thread is amusing.

I can vouch for the fact that zam's quality of clothing is very, very good.
Send him PM and he will state the price of the garment you are looking at. They are around the range of 200-300 as stated above. Its already reasonably cheap for the quality you are getting.
Zam has less overhead than any other designer out there. that's the only reason its cheap...

Magic,

How was the sizing for the dna linen minimalist pants? Should i be aware of the fit elsewhere even though the my waist measurement was what i relied on to get the corresponding size in those pants?
hey, I'm a 48 in everything and wear a 48 in zam barrett too. the fit is really perfect on them. they are forgiving in the thigh area and slim in calf.

I get compliments on them all the time.
^ uh huh. i was told size 46 when i told zam that my best fitting pair of denim had a waistband measurement of 16inches. I am usually a 48 and would it be right to say these run big in that sense?
