whatever the issues were, @Dorje and i have agreed to move forward and the project continues so all is well now

as for the shirt, he ordered an iteration of this with slight variations we were selling before the final ones were made for Zfacotorie

But that's not really a shirt but a top, to put it more accurately. I was expecting a shirt (with collar, etc).

Hope you're doing fine Zam. Gonna visit you in Brooklyn in May.

You must be British.

/\ The email you sent me Friday.

Look, I own a business and am busy working for my customers. I will post the entire email correspondence we have had since Nov 6th.

I suggest you do not dig a deeper hole for yourself in the meantime.

Dude I love this post. +1 for telling the truth. We need more legit posts like this. Thank you.

I really do not understand the point of posting these type of remarks aside from some type of insurance and added creditability knowing at least you can string a few other cases to your own.

Now the majority of us are left with a few shitty posts

Actually, in my singular transaction with him many months ago (which was on behalf of someone else), phone calls did not help either. All I got back were lies or no responses.

This.
And we can actually post here without them getting deleted. How swiftly Dorje's posts were taken off SZ!

To be fair, and to toasty's point it is true I could have tried to call but I need to draw the line somewhere. It was not an easy decision to bring this up here, I hope some good can come of it. I read a post by you @Zamb on SZ saying CS is an aspect of your business you are trying to improve on, and I hope this will encourage that to happen. Changing things isn't easy or painless many times.

Also, not everyone is great at everything. I think Zam is a great designer... maybe not great at customer service, but nobody has taken anything personally and Zam's response was reasonable and fair, which I really appreciate. Many times it's not that problems arise, because they always do, sometimes it's more important how you react to the problem.

Any new business has it's growing pains and hopefully Zam's will grow and improve over time, if anything good comes of this I hope it will be that the CS aspect of the business will be improved, which would be great for everyone.

This.

As I said before and I will say again

Every customer of mine who has a legitimate issue with our products or services I try my best to sort it out so that at the very least a mutually beneficial resolution can come to this matter. If such matters cannot be resolved this way and a refund is warranted I simply do that and we both move on

I am a designer first and foremost. Yes we do run a retail side to the business and I am aware of the importance of this because no matter how good a product you design and  sell, in the end you are dependent on the support of your customers for your continued success and keeping them satisfied is the only way to guarantee this.
Thar being said, you come across as a young, bitter, and insecure individual, who seem to like taking a swipe at anyone whom you think may have  slighted you in any way.

You bought one nail ring from me, a nail ring which was offered for sale as an opportunity to whomever wanted to take advantage of having one made. It was not a part of my business as we do not make rings. It was clearly a favor I offered on SZ to any member who wanted the rings.

Did you not receive your ring as I said you would?
why are you bitter?
Because you asked for the tracking and did not get it before the ring arrived to you?

Or because you had a ridiculous request of me making sure the ring was specifically 4.4 grams to which I said to you I had no idea how much the ring would weigh?

I appreciate every single customer who buys from ZB, because they dont have to. They can spend elsewhere as there are hundreds of designers all competing to sell to the same clients. Whenever a customer buys something I am incredibly thankful for their support and appreciation of what I do. However all businesses have issues they have to deal with on a daily basis that are not savory. business simply comes down to solving problems and the successful ones are those who do the best Job of accomplishing this task in whatever area they may arise.

People like you who contribute nothing and are bitter and petty should just shut the hell up and stop being an Ass. I am thankful for the people here on Styleforum who supports what I do and I am here for the simple fact that many have asked me to come here and contribute more, but as for people like you you can just shut your trap and move on.

I have already spoken to @Dorje and we are dealing with the issue privately. He is happy and so am I .

If you have some issue with me you can feel free to take it up with me personally. I invite you to do so rather than being a coward who comes out of the woodwork every time you think someone has created an opportunity for you to do so

As for this matter I am done with it. I am here because I was invited to share not to argue with people like you. it is situations and moments like these why many of my peers express no desire to expose themselves to environments such as these...........

Your post is hollow. Your claim of trying your best to resolve every customer issue is laudable; perhaps you should practice it. And I am speaking not just from my experience, but also others I know who have dealt with you. Forget not sending a tracking number, why do you blatantly lie so much?

LOL @ calling it a favor; priceless!
Like I mentioned, I was buying on behalf on someone else. Would one not convey the buyers requests, however strange? And if the request was ridiculous, why did you not say so then?
BTW, the request was 4.4, not 44 grams. That would be one heavy ring!

I'm skeptical about these stories that pop up from time to time, but also don't really know enough about the situations to call anyone an outright liar. I do find it interesting that the complainers always threaten to post email chains but never do... But seriously this is not the place to handle these things.

For what it's worth, I've ordered direct from Zam like half a dozen times over the past couple years and I've never had even the slightest problem. Shipping is slow sometimes but not to a ridiculous extent and it's understandable anyways given the nature of his operation. And he's gone out of his way multiple times to ask me if I was happy with the things I've bought, which is a level of interaction you rarely see. Zam is super nice, very knowledgeable and goes out of his way for customers on a pretty regular basis (e.g. custom orders, tailoring, frequent discount codes and sample sales), so it's always really perplexing when people come into this thread and rant about alleged slights.

I definitely echo Noctone's thoughts. I've ordered a few things from Zam and he's always been great to deal with, not to mention the quality of his work is amazing!

My minimalist DNA pants just arrived, very happy with them. :)

They run pretty small, I already had a pair of DNA jeans in size 48 that I had to sold since they were too small in the top block so I thought that with a size 50 I'd be safe but these are still a bit tight, although to be honest I've put on some weight since the summer, I always do.

Thanks very much @Noctone and @malcb33

We have very many customers who are satisfied  with both our products and service, we are not a perfect operation so sometimes there happens to be a customer with a legitimate issue to be resolved. there is nothing unusual about this, and we do our best whenever those arise, so no one has to fear doing business with us or feel like we dont care to offer the best to our clients

D,

glad you are happy with them

these are one of the best pants especially this season, however you should keep them, they will stretch a bit and become very comfortable. I have a black pair and can tell you that this cotton/ linen we use for these this season does stretch a bit after a few wears

Sure I will keep them, they're just a bit tight but yes these feel like they will stretch a bit more than the 100% cotton DNA jeans I had. :)

I really liked Art's waywt fit (and detail shots) from a while back, so I picked up a pair of the overlocked DNA's.

Looking forward to them :nodding:
