The trench boots look great icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif
Did anyone with a really wide foot try them? I am 8 EEE on the Brannock device, wide forefoot, narrow heel, high instep. Wondering what size trench boot I should try to maximize the chance of it fitting...

Lastly -- there are no stockists mentioned on the web page. I guess there is no way to try them on in NYC?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

Context has them I know, not sure about NYC. George was very friendly and extremely helpful in determining my sizing given my sizing in other boot models like Alden's larger boot lasts. I'd suggest contacting him.

Guys need a few thoughts I'm looking for a very casual Penny loafer for like linen pants and shorts for the summer. I'm getting the a bit early due to a cruise in March.

Would you go blue cxl or the natural cxl

natural for me.  blue is beautiful but I think it belongs on the trail oxford.  natural starts out nice and light, and darkens to a rich brown over time.

Am counting among the proud owners of a pair of Natural Trench Boots and just had to loose a word about them here.

First I was hooked on the 1000mile boots thread (actually went through the whole thread to have as much information as possible) and when I saw a picture of these Oakstreet beauties posted there I switched threads and never went back! smile.gif

So, this is to the style forum and the posters: Thanks!

The boots seem utterly flawless with no apparent compromise to quality whatsoever...incredible workmanship!

Had the opportunity to compare them to a pair of 1000mile boots. 1000mile boots compromise wherever possible.

Going to hit the streets with some nice boots now,

Robert

PS: For someone who is about to push the button on these boots ... google natural CXL ... they age incredibly well... ^^

I think the natural is much more versatile over the long term as well.

Any updates on the oxford version?  Really excited for those.

Finally got the plain toe trench boots in after six weeks! I wear a size 6.5D so they had to make it. They're gorgeous. Shout out to Tony for helping me out during the ordering process.

George told me to go half a size up from my Barrie size, and it should fit similarly.

I am an 8 in the Barrie and an 8 in my Oak Street camp boots. I tried the Trench in an 8.5 and they were huge on me
