Wow, I'll have to start saving up again.  Will the oxford's have more broguing details?  Any pictures in the works prior to release?

^ No photos yet - we actually don't have the final sample done yet. It is't a traditional oxford - it is truly, like the first person referenced, an oxford version of the Trench Boot. With that said - early samples that i've been tweaking have been very-very good. Definitely happy with them

January 22-24 is Market Week in NYC. So we'll be showing FW2014 - and it's big - we're showing 70+ pairs

New Trench Boots, fresh from Context. Fit advice was perfect for me. TTS but fits roomy, like an Alden Trubalance. Love the leather laces. These are a home run in my book!

Hey guys! First post on here!

Ive been admiring Oak Street shoes for some time now, and have checked out and tired on the limited offerings at my local shop, Stuart & Wright in BK. Does anyone know of any other shops in NYC that carry them? I went over to Dunderdon and they didnt have a single pair (and were in the middle of a 50-70% off, everything must go sale, are they going out of business??) and Palmer Trading Co was also down to only a single pair of penny loafers. Trying to find a pair of Hunt Boots to try on, though I think I am pretty much set on the Trail Oxfords (either in brown or natural, I cant decide!). Being a Mainer myself, its great that I can support my state and look great doing it!

Hey Matthew,
Thank you man! Happy to have you 'almost' on board with Oak Street. Dunderdon's founder very recently passed away - the NYC shop is closing for now, but their portland shop is staying open. Stuart & Wright is definitely one of our stockists (their name changed to French Garment Cleaners) and they have the all black camp boot (looks killer!). Also in Brooklyn, HW Carter & Sons carries us - they have a new, beautiful shop. Carters DOES have hunt boots - so you can definitely try them on there, along with camp boots and trail oxfords.

Let me know if I can help more!

Thanks for the info! Ill check out Carters for sure! I wasnt aware they had opened a shop! I'm excited to check it out.

I've seen some pics of other brands shoes in Natural CLX, and I love how it ages, I think I'll have to go with them! Unless I fall in love with the Hunt Boot.... So many shoes, so few dollars!

Hows the break-in on the Vibram soles on the Trail Oxfords? I tried on a pair at French Garment Cleaners, and the heel slipage was immense on a size 10 for me, but the salesmen there told me that they would stop slipping after the sole broke in. Any truth to this?

Can anyone who owns or had tried on the trench boots compare the trench boot size to Alden Barrie (I'm an 8D), Alden Leydon (8.5D), Allen Edmonds (8.5D), Paul Smith (7UK), Quoddy (9D) sizing? Would be very helpful. I'm not sure if I'd be an 8.5 or a 9 and I'm not sure my Brannock measurement.

Based on Barrie sizing, I assume you are an 8.5, as Barrie is generally .5 down from Brannock. I'm an 8.5D Barrie and therefore 9 trench boot.

I'd guess the same. I just bought .5 up from my Barrie size and they fit great.

for the trail oxfords, stand on a brannock.  whatever number you see, go down half a size.  for instance, I measure right on the 10, so I went with 9.5 and the fit is spot on.  its a loafer/mocc, so its gonna have some heel slippage, but you shouldnt be sloppy

this is good advice. if the slip was "immense" sounds like you should size down .5. Do what fuzzyearlobes suggested - sage advice
