Sorry, for my confusion but are you saying I should be an 8 or 8.5? I ordered an 8.5 but then you just said 8. I went up a half size from my camp boots, is that correct?

^ Lol, sorry for MY confusion - I meant to say if your 8 camp boots are snug, then you're right, 8.5 in the Trench Boots should be perfect!

My god, those trench boots. Is there any kind of affiliate discount? Or SF special edition in the works (10" tall please)?

Love the looks of the new Trench Boot!  I was wondering if you could touch on the specifics of the construction, specifically the insoles used.  I assume it is built with a sturdy natural leather insole similar to that used on most other goodyear welted boots/shoes?  Is there a cushioned sock liner present?  3/4 length or full sock liner?  Also, is it safe to assume they are cork filled under the insole?  I know you use the finest materials available, so I figure the answers to these questions will be what I expect, but I just wanted to make sure since your website doesn't go into these specifics.  Thanks!

Are there any Oak Street Bootmakers retailers in Dallas (or DFW area)? I'd love to see the trail oxford in person.

There aren't yet - a shop recently reached out - so maybe sometime in the future.

We will most likely release them in Brown - but black will be available before brown because of the similarity with natural.

Hey! Yes - oak tanned leather insole - truly more beautiful, and of richer material than you will find in any other exceptional footwear. Full length. Cushioned. Cork filled.

Did you treat those boots?  Mine don't appear as dark as yours.

Well I measured after my wife bought them as a Christmas present. I measure an 11, but have a wide foot.

I did not treat them. Just a poor lighted iPhone picture. I will post a good natural lighted picture when I get back in town. I just left for Florida to run a half marathon next weekend.

Wow, the black trench boots are available for pre-order at Context Clothing.
Actually the black boots are in stock at Context. Tried on a pair today, they are great. Black w/brown sole looks amazing I think. If I didn't already have a pair of leather soled boots I'd have snagged them. Going quick though, my size sold already this afternoon it appears...hoping I don't regret passing up the chance to get them...really need something with a commando sole for winter wear though.
