No. Those are Aldens (of course). Pre-order is for a plain toe OSB boot--pics earlier in the thread. There's a cap toe version coming at some point too.

Natural CXL Indys are available a few places. The Shoe Mart and Epaulet for two.

What vibram sole is this? Like what #?

It kind of looks like vibram 430, but it's a one piece construction instead of two.

Hi George

I'm thinking about buying some Navy Vibram Sole Trail Oxford UK size 10 but after reading various post's I'm a little unsure how to proceed as people have said buy 1 size down even if wearing socks.  Ideally I don't want too go a size down and six months down the line have the 'wide stretched look' because they don't it properly

I own a couple of pairs of Redwing moc toe boots UK size 10 and whilst they are cool with thick socks in winter (which is why I bought them), but they are quite loose with thinner socks.

I do intend to wear the Vibram Sole Trail Oxford with thin socks and possibly without socks in spring/summer so any advice from yourself and from owners of this footwear would be appreciated.

Cheers

Lorenzo

Hey Lorenzo - we suggest a half size down from your 'true' size (most often your dress shoe size). This will allow you to wear your trail oxfords with a variety of socks, and also sockless in the summer. If you post some more sizes in other brands, others might be able to pop in with help and comparisons

We sold that boot at the Pop-Up Flea, and it was purchased almost exclusively by guys who work/design in menswear - LVC, BillyKirk, RedWing and Woolrich guys all picked it up and walked away with them. Daiki from Engineered Garments encompassed the feeling of the boot best - he saw and loved the ripple sole, and then nodded with approval when we told him about the American Bison leather =) In fact, we're emailing him today because he asked that we let him know if we have a pair in his size left after the flea, so that he can purchase it.

For those interested, we have approximately a size run of these at Dunderdon in SoHo (25 Howard Street) - and they are available by phone order as well.

The boot has come to be known as the 'murder moc' devil.gif hahaha, but it's official name is the 'Trapper Boot'

since it's American Bison we could only get enough leather to make 30 pairs. And it's serious leather - 9 ounces. So for now, these are only available at Dunderdon. I'd like to build up some stock of American Bison for the future though =)

Those things look like they can tear it up. I can see Daiki rocking those
