The camp boot looks great! Now to decide which color. Good thing it is only a one day sale so it forces me to choose!

what's the difference from the old camp boots?

Haha oh man two??! I'm gonna be there on Friday. You're gonna have to hide them from me George so I don't buy them!

Sizing is in U.S, correct? If I wear a UK 7 in dress shoes (Edward Green, Loake), I would be a size 8 in the Brown Trench?

Or a US7.5. I find I have to size down .5 in Oak Streets. I usually wear a UK9 in Loake, C&J, Church's & Alfred Sargent and I wear a US9.5 in Oak Streets, not a US10 like I wear in AE, etc. YMMV.

I caved during the Black Friday sale and bought the rough-out trenches only a month after getting the brown ones. Still had my size, so they should be coming later this week.

For those of you who are getting or already have the rough-outs, does anyone plan to use dubbin on them? If so, what would you use? Sno-seal? I see that Saphir also makes dubbin. (http://www.hangerproject.com/saphir-dubbin-waterproofing-polish.html/) I found this site and their process significantly darkens the boot (Even before they apply polish, which I definitely would not do). (http://www.90thidpg.us/Equipment/Projects/Dubbing/index.html) Any other opinions on this? Do you think it ruins the boots by not leaving them as they are naturally?

They fit true to brannock sizing :)

I might have my sizing off, but I take the same size in the Trench and Alden Indy boot. 11.5d. But then I upsize on the handsewn to 12d in Ranger Moc, but 11.5d in penny loafer. I prefer my heel to be super snug, and this provides no heel slip and a good fit thru out normally.

I'm thinking to go with a 10 but can anyone weigh in on how much they stretch?

Thanks!

10 sounds right, but others who have some of the other shoes you have may be able to compare

Fooleo, did you end up ordering the Trail Oxfords? My feet have grown out of my dress shoes, and the only shoes I can compare anything to are my Nikes. I wear a 10 in Nikes and want to know if I should get a 10 in the Camp Boot for use with thick socks.

They are the Natty's, might be thrown off by the laces. The leather ones snapped and got a little short, I should order some new ones, but I am waiting on the roughout's to see which laces I go with on those. Needless to say I will not be buying anything for a while!
