Mine didn't ring through with free shipping, did I need a code?

I was thinking about a custom order but this price was too spot on. Picked up the rough out trenches. Now placing up my two tone chukka up for sale as they were too small after all.

Thanks.

Here ya go, I'd say it's more off white

Ah I'm weak, went for the natty roughouts 😳

Thanks, I really appreciate it.  Just pulled the trigger on a pair of natty CXL trail oxfords.  My impatient self had to get them overnighted so I'd have them in time for a trip to Key West next week.  I'm equally weak.

Another weak one here.  I sprang for the roughouts.

Hey guys,
just wanted to pop on. Only 2 more hours left in the sale, so if you have any questions that you need answered between now and then-let me know!

davidw25 - hit tony at oakstreetbootmakers.com with an email, and he'll remove that shipping charge for ya - strange that it didn't come through!

Oh - should mention, accessories are also 10% off until midnight. Not a bad time to pick up some shoe trees or a fine footwear kit!

The Trench Boots were my first pair of boots with a reconstructable sole. I am uncertain as to when and where I should get them resoled.

How much wear is enough wear to warrant a resoling.

Does OSB do in house sole reconstruction or so I need to go to a local cobbler?

Here are a few pics..

Is the leather sole soft. Can you push in hard with your thumb? if not just replace the heel, and Topy it, then you should be good to go for a while. If you do that you may be able to go through 2 to 3 heels and 1 or 2 Topys before needing a resole.

That heel has a while to go. As long as there is rubber protecting the leather underneath it is fine. All heels will wear down to that point quickly. Though you say the sole needs reconstruction? You need to show a pic if you want advice. I doubt those boots need the sole replaced already considering their condition.
