Does anybody know if the penny loafer has ever been made in a peanut-suede with the crepe sole?

I feel like I've seen them before (maybe a year or so ago) but cannot find anything about them anywhere.

It seems like if they actually existed I'd be able to find something.

Ah yes, the classic centipede sole.

In all seriousness, looks cool, though I don't think I could pull it off.

Yeah, don't think so either.

Yuketen has made a loafer that's pretty much exactly that, but never seen an OSB one.

i normally wear size 9.5 on all kinds of dress shoes and sneakers and size 9 on redwings/wolverine 1k.

but i down size all the way to size 8 on OSB penny loafer. the fit was quite ok.

just that i felt the back/end of OSB penny loafer is a little too low. hence it can get a little heel slip at times.

Giving some brown CXL trench boots in a 9.5 a try. Hopefully, they'll work out where 10s didn't

Case in point, the size 7 trail oxfords I posted previously are loose about 0.5 inches (can place two fingers behind my heel) if I move my feet to the front which I'm guessing would make a 6.5 trail oxford perfect. With that the penny loafers supposed to be half size smaller than trail oxford which would be size 6.

hey - not crazy! We see it. If 6.5 trail oxfords would be your size you'd be a 6 in the penny loafers.

Penny loafers were also made in navy suede with crepe sole, need to eBay mine tonight (10.5 BNIB).

My #8 loafers are getting a lot of wear at the moment and starting to get some really nice patina.

Noticed some new pics on Instagram. Any other tips? I am hoping for some oxfords, fingers crossed!

yeah, those soles are insane, cant imagine that anyone can pull them off to be honest

i have the trail oxfords in size 8 and I also have a slight heel slip at times. I'm noticing it's slipping less the more I wear them, any recommendation to resolve the slipping besides wearing thicker socks? I also realized that I get less heel slip when I don't wear any socks!

Sell em and get a smaller size biggrin.giftongue.gif

Other option is to wear the tar out of them and hope the footbed continues to contour to your foot, which will lessen the slippage

Yeah, I also wear 8D and have noticed that the slippage tends to decrease over time. And that going sockless helps.

Try a thin insole?
