Perhaps a cherry boat shoe with white sole, or a trail oxford with white vibram sole. Do you happen to have crepe? I think white sole would be a great juxtaposition against the cherry and would be best to really bring out the beauty of the color.

Agree that the cherry would look great with a white sole. And, although we have been focused on the trail oxford, a boat shoe in cherry would be excellent!

What do we all think about a trail oxford or boat shoe on the new (to OSB) vibram wedge sole that has been under consideration?

Received the Field Boots today. First impressions--quality's great, and they're *really* comfortable. I was a little hesitant about boots since it just hit 90 degrees here in Indiana, but they're really light. And these days I love anything in Chromexcel.

Hey guys!
I found 2 things which I was super excited about.

#1 - I found that cherry leather from the shoes I made for Oi Polloi! I couldn't believe there was more left - which is really cool
#2 - I also found brown chromexcel with a scotch grain - it is really really cool as well

Should we compile a list of proposals?

Natural CXL blucher is available already smile.gif Independence Chicago has them, and if you call, they ship! But since you're a local guy you should stop in! I'll be around tomorrow AM. 47E Oak St. Chicago (check to see if your size is left - I know very few remain!).

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've been looking for some real world pics of these boots forever and these are the first I have seen. They look great...makes me want a pair even more now. Seriously appreciated!

just throwing this out there...
what about some cordovan options?
the cost would be substantially higher though.

Horween has zero Cordovan - I talked to Skip Horween for about an hour about that the other day
