Has anybody bought OSB belt's before?? wanted some feedback on quality and etc... Also about sizing, I typically wear a size 32 in jeans, so according to the website a 34 or 36 would be fine?

Have to give you a short review of my Natural Cap Toe Trenches...

A couple of nights ago I broke out my Obenauf's LP and hand-massaged it all over my new, fresh-out-of-the-box natural cap toes. I think that's better than polishing my car! What a feeling. Amazing boots.

So yesterday I wore them for the first time - obliterating every written and logical rule for breaking in new shoes. Put them on at 6am, heading to a bus-trip from Vancouver to Seattle for the Seahawks game. In case you're not a Hawks fan and didn't watch, it RAINED hard most of the game. Bus dropped us at a corporate tailgate party. While we were dry under party tents, the water was running through the parking lot and pooling under our feet. Boots dry and comfy as hell.

Off to the game just before kickoff...pouring rain, puddles all the way for our 4-block walk, then standing in security lines to get in. Get into stadium to find our seats aren't covered. They gave us garbage-bag type Seahwawks ponchos...rain pounding on us running down the ponchos down our legs onto our feet. Boots comfy and dry!

Game over, walk the 4 blocks (no rain now but pavement soaked and puddles) back to the bus for the two-hour ride back to Vancouver. Hour and a half wait at the border...finally home at 10pm!

Finally taking the boots off 16 hours after pulling them on originally. Like wearing slippers all day! Feet bone-dry! Wore white athletic socks, so there was a few brown marks, likely just from perspiring feet.

The whole day the boots were mostly beading the water off, although at one point up in the stands getting pissed on with rain, both boots did have a stripe of watermark across the vamps - not soaked through.

Amazing boots guys! I have never worn brand new footwear out of the box for any length of time without discomfort...even athletic shoes!

I'm seriously considering another pair now...black?

Thanks to Oak Street for your great work and amazing products!

Haha I'd be thinking the same thing! I wore my trench boots with leather sole around Brooklyn all day couple weeks ago and my feet were aching a little bit by the time I took them off

No, all-leather soles! I was worried too, and am considering doing topys or half-rubber soles, but thought I'd try them out as-is first. I tell you, they are pretty much water-proof as advertised. Only thing I will say, I had to be a little careful on some of the stadium's smooth cement walk-ways. I'm still amazed how incredibly comfortable they were for 16 hours, right out of the box.

George, just remembered you posted this. Since they're made to order is there a wait for getting them. How long we looking at?

I just had the two tone chukka delivered from Woodlands. I can't decide if the 8.5 is over snug or just right. I think I read on your page it better to buy them like this as the stretch a little. I'm afraid a 9 might be too loose in the heel. Fantastic boot by the way.

When I scrolled past the two tone cap toes and they haunted me for a weekend. I finally pulled the trigger.

You won't be sorry. Wiped mine down after the wet Seahawks game Sunday, and looking forward to wearing them tomorrow in the Vancouver rain.

Yeah I've seen them. They are awesome. With a danite sole they'd be mine. They still might be mine...
