Those look sick. Do you remember the thickness or name of them?

If I'm a 9.5 Wide in Sperry, what would I get in OSB's boat shoes?

Ugh no #8's in 10.5 or 11 at HW Carter!!!!  George help! :D

OSB -- The #8 shell loafers are superb.  Look and feel is just exceptional.  I see you've got the black available too.  Do you have plans to introduce a shell brown too?

The shell loafers are awesome.  I wish for someone to stock an E width, perhaps unlined.  The shell loafer is forgiving for a high instep but not for wide toes.

I can't remember the name or number, but it seems to be the standard Vibram "top sole" or "protective sole."  They look thicker than that are -- they are actually pretty thin, but look good and seem like they will hold up well...

I just gave mine to the cobbler for a topsole, but a tan coloured one. Might post photos if anyone wants em.

That appears to be a vibram 2337. It's a product with which any cobbler who does this kind of work will be familiar. You can see the entire line here:

http://www.vibram.com/vibramrepair/cat_pdf/cat_US.pdf

Scroll down to pg 12 of the PDF or pg 21 of the document. Half sole in upper right #2028 aka Richard (formerly 2337). Here's what they look like on my RMW boots for reference.

Stopped in at HW Carter last night, in Williamsburg. First off, the store is super-nice in person, super-friendly. Had a nice chat with the guy there, apparently that 50% off sale was because, quote, "we just wanted to throw a party!" Anyway, their selection of Oak Streets is super nice. Still only reinforced my troubles with penny loafers and D widths. My feet can handle ranger/trail/blucher/whatever you want to call them mocs, but not penny loafers so much. Also, he said that Trench Boots were in their future, and they might even have some interesting colored leathers (it didn't sound like the super-secret shells) I got the feeling that maybe green was in the future?

Anyway, for people looking to try on OSB in NYC, definitely stop by.

Oh, and it was super-hot out, and he gave me a free bandana/hankerchief to wipe off my forehead. Great customer support.

I just ordered and received a couple of pairs of OSBs from HW Carter. Nice customer service over the phone and rapid shipping. These are my first from OSB - a navy trail Oxford and a brown hunt boot - and both appear very well made.

Any info on the SS'14 line? Or the other new shoes posted on Instagram?

3-4 months of wear, I've lost count.
