Has there been an update on the captoes that are on the first page? I saw that the update on the changes that were being made to them was posted about a year ago.

I saw that picture posted on tumblr a while back and instantly fell in love. Would love to grab a pair if theyre to be found around somewhere!

Yo, what's the quality of OSB compared to Aldens?

Seems like similar price point, made in USA, horween leather...

I put Vibram top soles on mine and am very happy with them.  Cost me $47 I think. Here's a pic:

Got my oak streets from hw Carter's flash sale

And after one wear out to lunch (click for larger photo)

Thankfully not in vamp but pretty poor clicking for a shoe that retails at $300 (and even at the $150 I paid). Never seen this with quoddy nor yuketen

I've never seen this with OSB or any Horween Chromexcel leather. Probably just yours.

And your point is?

At first I thought you meant "creasing" and was going to say that I see creasing like that in CXL all the time. Then I realized that by "clicking" you mean the holes used for stitching, and yeah, that's off. Of course, there isn't a person in the world who will notice that your shoes have slightly odd stitching in one small part.

Clicking is when they cut the leather for the shoe, cxl may crease something like this if its an area of wear but it should crease like this on the side of the shoe

I know there's lots of sizing advice in here, but I have a quick question.

I picked up a pair of the Natural CXL beefroll loafers from HW Carter. Went w/ same size as my Alden CXL LWBs (Leydon last). They fit great overall, but my toes (big & 2nd) are right up against the end. Not jammed in, but touching (barefoot). They are not uncomfortable, and seem like they would stretch a touch and be perfect, but I'm wondering how stretch people have experienced in the toe?

Many people say CXL stretches a lot, but often that's used in reference to width, as opposed to length. Any input is welcomed. Just don't want to wear them for a week and end up wishing I'd sized up .5.

Thanks a ton.
