Hitting it hard, nice! I'd like to do another Challenge, just can't find any buddies to sack up. Nasty looks cool too, when it comes to L.A. I am in for sure.

Probably an odd request, but does anyone have/could post a colour comparison pic of natural CXL and peanut suede? With some dark denim would be ideal.
I was originally after the navy boat shoe, but they're not readily available here in the UK - I managed to get a navy trail oxford to see how they fit (and then return, and order the boat shoe in said size), and they're so nice I'm thinking about getting a pair of the oxfords in a different colour as well as the boat shoe. The natural CXL or peanut suede are the options I'm looking at as I don't have shoes in these colours already, but I think the suede might be a bit too yellow-y for my taste. Then again, I have a couple of pairs of CXL and it'd be nice to have a change - if there was a more natural suede colour I would probably go with that.
Also, does anyone know if there exists a sole which is something of a middle ground between the boat shoe sole and the Vibram?
Edit - I know natural CXL will darken with wear, but I already have some brown CXL Quoddys - will the natural eventually end up this dark?

My trench boots have quickly become a distinct brown color. I've worn them maybe a dozen times, once through about 10 minutes of rain, and have treated them with Venetian shoe creme. And they have darkened considerably. I like the brown color, so don't mind, but if anyone saw them now they'd never know they were once natural and would just assume they were brown boots...
My wearing so far has been through mud, rain, and on super long walks in sunshine.
