Probably an odd request, but does anyone have/could post a colour comparison pic of natural CXL and peanut suede? With some dark denim would be ideal.

I was originally after the navy boat shoe, but they're not readily available here in the UK - I managed to get a navy trail oxford to see how they fit (and then return, and order the boat shoe in said size), and they're so nice I'm thinking about getting a pair of the oxfords in a different colour as well as the boat shoe. The natural CXL or peanut suede are the options I'm looking at as I don't have shoes in these colours already, but I think the suede might be a bit too yellow-y for my taste. Then again, I have a couple of pairs of CXL and it'd be nice to have a change - if there was a more natural suede colour I would probably go with that.

Also, does anyone know if there exists a sole which is something of a middle ground between the boat shoe sole and the Vibram?

Edit - I know natural CXL will darken with wear, but I already have some brown CXL Quoddys - will the natural eventually end up this dark?

My trench boots have quickly become a distinct brown color.  I've worn them maybe a dozen times, once through about 10 minutes of rain, and have treated them with Venetian shoe creme.  And they have darkened considerably.  I like the brown color, so don't mind, but if anyone saw them now they'd never know they were once natural and would just assume they were brown boots...

Mine are definitely a brown too, but they are very, very obviously different than brown CXL. It's a subtle difference, but you can tell that they are just dark without being dyed that way. In my experience, brown CXL fades to a reddish brown, while natty CXL darkens to a more olive, mottled brown. There's nothing you can do (or would want to do) to avoid this.

My wearing so far has been through mud, rain, and on super long walks in sunshine.

Sorry if this has been covered previously, but will the Trenches come in any colour other than natural (I see the black pair above this post, but there's no info on the OSB webpage).

Bring on the shelllll!
True. Looking forward to those. Would the same amount of stretching be expected on shell trench boots as chromexcel trail oxfords?
Definitely sold on the natural cxl, but the more I look at the trench oxford the more I like it...

Would like to see the trail as a 3-eye and trench as a 4-eye if anyone is handy with photoshop?

It doesn't include international - but we will definitely deduct standard ground US shipping from your total. We're trying to work something out for international folks

If it's only UPS ground, will you deduct that amount from a quicker shipping method cost?

We use UPS ground, and like above - can definitely deduct that amount from an expedited method

Says navy boat shoes will take 6 weeks to ship - I don't think summer lasts that long over here
