Got my navy boat shoes today in size 8E after an excruciating wait. These things are prime. Already planning my second pair of OSB's... Natural loafers or brown camp boots?

Here's my experience: I had custom-ordered the black Trench Boot in size 11.5, and since I also wear size 12 in Nikes, I was a bit worried after reading this post. However, the boots just arrived today and fit me pretty much perfectly. If I had gone half a size smaller, they'd be a bit too snug. So... YMMV.

The boots themselves are gorgeous, really hefty and sleek at the same time. Can't wait to see how they age.

Good afternoon, I have a question in regards to sizing on beefroll penny loafers, my sizing in AE is below:

AE Cliftons 9.5

AE Players Wingtip 9.5

I do have minor heel slippage which is usually covered by wearing socks. I do understand that the loafer will stretch so I was looking into buying a 9 or 9.5.

I am a 10.5 in non dress shoes and was surprised how different the sizing for AE was in comparison to my other shoes.

Nevertheless, can anyone suggest which size I should go with? 9 or 9.5?

Also, does any one have pictures of the brown penny loafer after several months to show?

Thanks

Hi guys,

I am selling a pair of Brown Boat Shoes, size 8.  I am selling them because after just 2 days wearing them the leather loosened up to the point where one shoe (my right foot is smaller than my left) was just slightly too big.  I ordered a pair of 7.5’s and after a conversation with an employee at Oak Street, feel comfortable that the 7.5’s are more appropriate for me.  As you might expect, this is my first pair of Oak Street’s.

I ordered the shoes on April 22, 2013.  To give you an idea about the size of my feet, I wear an 8.5 in most dress shoes (mostly Cole Haan) but every once in a while will be an 8.  It seems like you guys have a good idea about sizing for these shoes, so hopefully there is someone out there who knows they are a size 8 and wants a pair of these at a discount.

I’m not sure what a reasonable price is for these, so just ping me with an offer if you’re interested.  If I don’t receive anything reasonable by 5/30, I’ll probably just put them on eBay.  This post may be better suited in a different part of the site, so let me know if I should move it.

One last thing – I am incredibly happy I found out about Oak Street.  These are incredible shoes, inside and out.  I couldn’t wait long enough to make my second purchase, so my brother and I just bought a pair for my dad for father’s day.  Hopefully he’ll be as pumped as I am to own a pair of these.

Kevin

Can anyone comment on how the trail oxfords fit compared to quoddy maliseets with cross stitched toe? Especially in width. Thanks
