Thick as Thieves suit review - Page 6

Hey, Jason, as the new guy on the forum I just wanted to know if you had any plans to introduce a 2-button suit to your collection? (which is wonderful all by itself)
You can order the 3-button in a 2 button version. Quite a few of us have done that.

(Unless I've misunderstood your question!)

I have two 2-button Thick as Thieves suits, so I'm quite certain he sells them.

Brian, didn't you mention recently that you purchased 2 more TaT suits? Share some pics, please!

let me add my notes of praise to jason's work and the TaT suit.

i just received yesterday my first order from jason -- a medium gray, 3 roll 2 suit. i was very impressed with the TaT silhouette, but i'm an attorney and needed a slightly more 'conservative' cut, while still maintaining the character of the suit. jason and i discussed a few options first, and he offered a slightly more full cut, a slightly wider lapel, a slightly longer jacket, and a standard ticket pocket instead of the overlapping ticket pocket. his communications were prompt and informative, and i was comfortable that i would receive exactly what was discussed.

delivery was only 2 1/2 weeks after my order, and the suit is beautiful. it is definitely a unique piece in my wardrobe -- most of my suits are what you expect to find in a lawyer's closet -- but i wanted a slim suit that would be appropriate for work but still look sharp. jason definitely delivered. the quality of work is extremely high, and i still can't believe that TaT offers a fully-canvassed suit for the price that they do.

i would not hesitate to order again from TaT, and likely will in the near future. tweed sounds like it might be in order for the winter.

only got it yesterday, so no pics yet, but i will try and remedy that this week.

^^^ You're making me impatient to get the tweed jacket I have on order. Then again, it's 100 freaking degrees and the whole world is on fire, so there's no rush.

How much do I have to pay for the exact same suit as Brian?
Do you offer us SFers a discount like months ago?
SF price for "brian's suit" is $450 shipped to Germany. cheers

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately I have some more questions.

Is Brians suit in "Med Grey Wool"?
If I want a dark blue one: which way to go? "Dark tea flannel" is more grey than blue?

I'd like to wear the suit also on the job but in an environment where wearing suits is unusual so I don't have to look at rules.
Which material would you propose?

I have 2 navy flannels, one is a dark navy, the other is more of a midnite blue (close to black). I would guess the dark navy is closest to what you'd think of as "dark blue". Yes, Brian's is med grey

A guy must have in your wardrobe is a Great Coat in army green and navy air force hues. It can be single or double breasted but brass buttons are a must and either belted or unbelted but a fitted waist is a must.
