I had a court case today, and not only did the judge NOT understand the f-ing UCC - she completely disregarded it and ruled against me. Of course a n00b judge - WTF - who screens these morons anyway?

2 work complaints:

1. Don't plan meetings with me just a couple hours in advance. I may actually have other plans, dumbass. Especially not when a simply e-mail will do the trick.

2. We have a (publicly available, btw) database of regulatory filings that come in to us. We rely on this for our access to the filings and responsive motions/pleadings, etc. Far too often the dumbasses who create these files **** them up and only the first page of a multi-page filing will show up. WTF? How hard is this? To add to it, we've been trying, literally for decades, to switch over to electronic-only filing. Still hasn't happened. Hence needing to convert paper filings into PDF documents. Ridiculous.

Bought some "crusty white" rolls to have for lunch got them out of the pack and found they are rock hard.
After finding there was no way I was getting into them with my bare hands I stood on one for giggles, it crushed only a little and then held, I am not a heavy guy but I would have thought ~ 150 pounds would be enough to deal with a bread roll.
I don't know what they are made of, but it is nothing resembling bread, they are very light, emit a wood like sound when tapped. I finally managed to get into one with a SAW, not a bread knife but an actual pruning saw blade and even that was hard work. Lunch is going to be a workout.

our company decided to stop paying us back for our cellphones. Instead we can 'give them' our account, device and phone number, or they will get us a new device and #. What am I going to do with two blackberries? I am kind of pissed about this because I have had that number and account for the better part of 10 years and I get taken relatively good care of at Verizon. I wouldnt have bought a blackberry as my personal phone if I knew they were going to do this, now I am stuck with the device and either another 150/m bill or a BB that only does phone....

Morrison's finest, we should be so lucky as to have a sainsburys up here. Ate them, they tasted of nothing and my jaw muscles hurt a fair bit afterwards. I am convinced they were at least in part of fibreglass, they made the slightly squeaking noise I would imagine fibre glass makes as it is crushed when I was chewing them.
