I tired of school...Why did I take all the hard professors? I should have just taken easy classes, no one would know in the end.
If you have even the remotest intention of wanting to go to graduate school, people will know. That is something that admission committees look at.

And as far as things pissing me off: people viewing the university experience as merely a gateway to a job as opposed to an education. They miss out on so much (granted, so do the people who spend all their time in the library).

But given that you did register for those classes, I'm assuming that you aren't one of those people. I'd place my money on the "still in shock upon realizing how much work I have in store from me" crowd.

Nitrous oxide can be your friend in situations like that. They have to give me that stuff for even the simplest things, and I always have thoughts that seem profound to me at the time, but are not really. Last time I was under nitrous, I had the following thought: "the breasts of a female are not actually attractive, they are just heaps of ***** tissue on the thorax."

I have to wonder about what medication your taking and why, but then a lot of philosophy lecturers I have know are outright weirdos. And for the record breasts are attractive.

truth be told I was feeling kind of masochistic today and physical pain is taking my mind off a tough decision I need to make, so I refused all but a topical anesthetic. I wonder if this is how cutters feel

I am not taking any medications (also known as medicaments). As for the reason why, well it's the reason you'd pretty much expect: it's because I don't have any health problems, or at least any that have been diagnosed. (Being under nitrous during visits to the dentist doesn't really count as taking a medication.)

As for the second point, you should try being under nitrous. You would probably have thoughts that would surprise you. Maybe you'd even think that breasts were just heaps of ***** tissue on the thorax.

I have to teach five courses all back to back tomorrow, starting at 9:30 and ending at 4:45, with no time for lunch. My voice is still in pretty poor shape. I have no idea how I'm going to do it. Then a conference presentation on Thursday.

Just imagine them all naked

That is certainly helpful in some contexts, but I don't think it is going to help me not lose my voice! (Unless my imagination of their nakedness is so vivid that I become dumbstruck. But that would not be a good result either.)
