Been a month and two days since I lost grandma. It's hitting me harder now than it did before. My dad and I went to visit grandpa this weekend and she was everywhere...the chairs she sat in, her garden, even the plastic wine glasses she used towards the end when she was unable to grasp a normal cup/glass. I feel a little lost without her. I even called grandpa about today's interview and said, "Let me tell Mim," before I realized what I had said.

:( i know its hard to imagine now, but you will adjust. and with time, things will feel better. stay strong, conne-mon.

Those damn "Sorry We Deactivated Right-click ;)" warnings that pop-up when you right click anything on a website like http://www.letmewatchtv.net I had to complain to them. Right-click warnings pissed me off badly, I had to complain to them to get rid of it. People who have right-click disabled on their sites are idiots. I hate Right-Click warnings. :brick: :censored:

I made this video months back.

oh and almost forgot
3. so I ended the fiscal year on friday. one report finished, one didn't (the other one isn't on plan yet as he is new). the one who didn't it was basically on a technicality, and will get credit for hitting his quota on monday (today) but it will count as hitting the quota for the year. but he wasn't in the system as having closed quota. so I coudn't congratulate him. but I didn't feel it was fair not to congratulate the other guy, who worked really hard and hit quota. so I sent out a large circulation email congratulating the one, and I sent a private message saying to the other that I would congrtulate him monday. he gave me all sorts of piss about how demotivating it was, and on and on. **** him. that kind of thing drives me nuts.

Maybe if you treated him like a person and not a 'report' he might not feel so de-motivated.

When I am very tired, I become emotional in the manner of a woman. Just a few minutes ago I was in the grocery store and I became sadder than I should have when I realized they didn't have any soy yogurt. But my sadness quickly turned to anger when I heard a cover version of "One on One," originally by Hall and Oates. I thought "God damnit, why the hell would anyone do a cover of that?" (Not because the original is bad, but rather because it is so good.)

Hall and Oates and the word 'good' should never appear on the same page.

Hope you are tired when you read this and I hope it made you cry.

Bless your little heart. Your video was like watching a car crash in slow motion.

Dough, you may want to reconsider the sctructure of your "videos".

And JFYI, most browsers allow you to block those pop ups after the 2nd or third time.. and then you can easily use your right click. Enjoy.

I get to work from home once a quarter for contingency reasons...today is that day. I honestly hate it because they seem to give associates even more work to do when they are home. I have a mac and not all the buttons translate over great...and during pricing hour our busiest time of the day: 430-630 they might have me come in. Only good part is I live 25 min walk away.

Coffee is no longer working, third day in a row of reading this book. If you have issues with insomnia and an interest in Scandinavian political history you'd like to be completely divested of, I highly recommend it.

I don't know, it seems like your emotions flared up as you lashed out at Hall and Oates for no good reason just now. Are you a woman in real life, even though you are a man on the Internet?

Uncle found out he had colon cancer last week, just found out he may also have lung cancer too. Broke up with gf, kind of necessary for uni, but still feels bad man, didn't really care in the morning, but it's 3am now and I can't sleep.

sorry to hear that... my best wishes to your uncle, fuji.

:( visited my 90+ year old grandmother with the kids saturday. she's definitely not comfortable with herself right now, and she told me that she wished she could just die instead of having to go through whatever ailing her slowly everyday. being old sucks.

I watched them perform once, back in the late 80s, when g.e. smith and t-bone wolk were still touring with them. at the least they're very very good musicians!

T-Bone Wolk's bassline is one of the best parts of "One on One," IMO. They really were excellent musicians.

so I brought my 9 year old girl to a pedia-rheumatologist today for her recurring knee pain. the x-ray shows nothing conclusive, and she's recommending an mri just to be sure that there's nothing really wrong with her. great... now I'm looking at bringing my kid who's scared shitless with needles to not only getting a blood test, but also having dye injected in her and trying to tell her not to be scared as she's going inside that tunnel thing.
