The thing is that I wasn't even going to shop his prices or anything, was even willing to pay a couple hundred more than a big box price to give business to the local guy. But six hundred dollars to deliver and hook up a W / D when Home Depot does it for free - that's just freaking egregious. Dealbreaker right there

add "small business washer/dryer installer" to my list of "if **** hits the fan" career backups. First on the list is locksmith. 1 washer dryer and 2 locks a day for 5 days? Over $350K a year in income. :slayer:

I was locked out of my house one night several years ago, and my dogs were inside and needed to be let out. Can't remember what I paid, but I do recall it being in the hundreds. Took the guy less than 15 minutes to get me back in the house.

They have you by the balls. #occupylocksmiths

I even tried to anticipate the price on the phone with them, but they were all dodgy

him: "We won't know until we drill it."
me: "But it says right here it's a Brand X with the numbers 90210 on it"
him: "hmm. Not sure."
