Oh yeah - I forgot to mention this part: I was driving my dad's car. Apparently the guys at the garage told him that if he wanted to get a new one, they could tell the insurance people that it was a total-loss 'cause it was so close...I never knew that just having your airbags pop out could be so expensive. Well, that and the bumper being fucked up so bad you couldn't open the front doors.

******* asian lady reversed and hit me while I was driving my mothers car when I was 18, I was ******* nervous/scared I was going to get bitched at by my mom. So She gets out and asks me if I didn't see her and throws her hands up, I said I was not moving and behind your vehicle, how could you not see me. (in a calm voice.) I wal over and there was only cosmetic damage, but it wasn't my car so I asked her for her insurance papers and told her this. She goes BALLISTIC, "look what I am driving, I am driving a Lexus and you are driving a Toyota". I said I was sorry but I needed her papers because it wasn't my vehicle. She emphasizes the lexus part again, in my head I am thinking you dumb **** its a ******* lexus and you hit me! if were ******* royalty you would have a driver or a ******* s class at least. The asian lady says she was talking to her police friend and that she didnt have to give me anything. At this point I called my mom and asked her what she wanted me to do. Mom was worried I was hurt but she said she would show up.
Mom shows up and is pissed because the asian **** is giving me a hard time tells the lady calmly that she should not have done this because I am a kid and clearly she was the one that hit me. Tell the lady if she doesn't give me her paperwork she will be forced to pursue legal action. (complete bs on my moms side because she doesn't believe in suing people over stupid crap) Asian **** gave up the paperwork and mom told me not to worry about it and left. Turns out that my mom never had the intention of filing for the claim, she never asked me for it and had the mechanic buffer out the white paint.
wow, I that was long and terribly written. Oh well.

lol this reminds me of my time in Connecticut for a summer internship of '10.

I was driving my sister's Jetta at the time and I was stopped at a red light. All of a sudden, BAM! And I lurched forward. Someone had hit me from behind, so I immediately looked at my rear view mirror, and I see some lady in a Lexus SUV on the phone. She immediately hangs up, cause, well, "****, ___ I just got into an accident, can't talk!" lol

Well I get out and am like WTF lady and she apologizes yadda yadda, we pull over to a parking lot and I call the police. They come up within 3 minutes (super ******* fast) and the lady tries to give me $300 for the damage before the cops show up. I laugh and am like are you ******* serious, my bumper is cracked and caved in completely.

The cop shows up and the lady's like, 'you know what officer, this can't have been my doing.. look how damaged the car is, it must have been there before!' and I'm like WTF ARE YOU SERIOUS?!

Luckily, the cop has some sense and actually gets pissed at her, saying, "listen ma'am, this is what happens when a large SUV such as yours hits a compact car like his.. that thing is virtually plastic, no wonder it's all damaged!! Don't be lying now!"

He walks away and starts to file a report and she calls her husband and asks me to talk to him. I talk to him and he tries to bribe me again too, asking me what the damage looked like. He offered $500 not to report it to insurance. I said no. Then he offered $1000 and I said no again and told him to stop wasting time because his wife had been on the phone and was completely at fault when she hit me.

Lmao. Women drivers.

Was it completely necessary to mention that she was an 'Asian' ****?

lol, well at least you were okay. I'm paranoid :paranoid: that getting rear ended will result in huge neck injury that will cripple me for the rest of my life.

Was it completely necessary to mention that she was an 'Asian' ****?

No pics - my passenger broke her wrist in the crash, so I was a bit more concerned with that. After the cops took my statement my mom gave me a ride to the hospital to check on her, and by the time we checked out there the car had been towed.

Don't think my dad actually knew the guys that well - was more that they assumed that he would probably want to get a new one, and he told them that he'd rather not go through the hassle of finding a new car right now.
