2 hours door to door each way. It's mostly trains so it's not so bad.

Trains are certainly better but it's still quite a long time. Wow though, you must really like where you live and the job as well. I'd still rather spend an hour on a decent train and be able to read, sleep or whatever than deal with even 30 minutes of LA traffic! Luckily I keep to the west side of town and am rarely on the highway and never on the 405.

I like saving money but it's reached a tipping point. Hopefully moving the 1st.

I just bought a rowing machine. First time I used it was a disaster I rowed as fast as I could but there was nothing I could do it sunk right to the bottom of the pool (and me with it). Now it is broken need to buy another one.

I guess DC has a pretty good cycling community. The average biker around here seems to be a lean, weather looking 40-50 year old. They ruin me on the roads, that's for sure.

To be fair, the second part of that sentence describes pro cyclists.

I think he meant "12 oz curls" as in 12 fluid ounces.

Whenever I start thinking about Popeyes I can't get it out of my head until it's in my belly. Well, I'm about 4 hours away from being able to eat Popeyes right now and it's killing me.

What is more dispiriting... job apps or continuing my employment.

Not worth it just for dealing with Penn station and NJ Transit. Also, compared to the property taxes in Princeton, NJ I have my doubts that it is any cheaper than NYC. Also, here you don't need a car, and monthly metro card is like 1/4th the price of a monthly NJ transit pass. On top of it all you have so much more time. The whole "cheaper" thing is unjustified.

Penn really isn't that bad once you get by the blob of pissed off LIRR folks. I'm really sick of all the old people on this train though.

Checked out a new Mexican place in town last night and it was disappointing. Tried to redeem the experience today by getting take-out tacos from a different new place. Got home, started eating, and found a hair. Hair that's distinctly not from someone's head.

Fucking Philly.

Princeton really that bad? Guess I'm glad I didn't move to Jersey last year.
