So on Thursday I went to see a friend of mine who is going to die of cancer any day now. He's in his 40s. I really don't know what to say about it. 7 of us plus one on Skype went out to see him. His parents were incredibly glad we visited. Unfortunately three of them dropped the "how you doing" line, which is I guess inevitable. He couldn't talk much as you imagine. Kept dropping in and out of sleep.

One of the reasons I don't want a family is if that ever happens to me I just want to go to hospice and not be a bother to anyone and not have anyone have to deal with it.

One of my student loan processors just mailed me a check. Just a check, with no explanation of why they are sending me money, no check stub, no letter, no memo, nothing.

My guess is that they probably mistakenly charged me after I consolidated my loans and are just giving the money back (which wouldn't surprise me because every single interaction I have had with the government-ran student loan servicers has been filled with incompentance)...but now I am going to have to go sit on hold for god knows how long on Monday to make sure that they haven't screwed something up.

Also, the other processor screwed up billing me for the loans that moved (they charged me the full ammount but they allocated it wrong so they thought I overpaid one loan and didn't pay the other 3...so I was in default) so I really don't expect everything to just be ok. Hopefully they clean everything up because I can't have any of their mistakes showing up on my credit report while I am in the middle of looking for a new apartment.

Sorry to hear that, its hard in situations like that.

Came here to complain about my car overheating, but edina's post made that feel completely petty and stupid.

I am sure they have, and this is not the first time I tell this person to add a subject to the subject line.

Mary Brown's likes to put a single ******* pickle ON TOP of the burger. Not even inside, but on top of the bun itself. I think they do it just to piss people off. Like here, have this disgusting looking pickle as an appetizer before you indulge in our already ****** burger. Every employee that works there is a ******* Philippine'er and I don't think they know how to assemble a chicken burger. Who even heard of the concept of a pickle on your chicken burger???? I might understand if it were a full pickle, but it's just a half ass slice off a gherkin.



it even looks dumb in the photoshopped burger that is supposed to make fast food look Michelin star rated.

Next time I go through the drive through I want to order it and say "and can you not put that stupid ******* pickle on top? mmk"

If you can't be with the one you love, then love the one you're with. If you're not actually with anyone, I've found that you can go out and be with a prostitute and that works okay too, although it costs more.
