I never could quite get the whole RHCP thing. I mean, their music sucks, their whole persona was gimicky, and that lead singer just struck me as King Douchebag.
I dug them back when they were kind of punk-funk (Blood Sugar Sex Magick and earlier) but now they are horrible and really need to be put down for their own good. I'm not even much of a fan of the older stuff anymore, but when I was 13-14, it was the coolest thing I'd ever heard.

mixing beer and two different types of absenth has given me one of those massive headaches that feels like its at the top of your neck and bottom of your head. god its fuckng annoying!

The Colts were pissin me off last night. Just looked damn flat. Plenty of time to get into better shape and I have no doubt the season will go well, but to get creamed by the Bears? ****.

^ Also pissing me off. I went back to Indiana this weekend to help out at a charity political festival my sister organized. On my way back to Chitown this morning, I'm on Lake Shore Drive and there's an ambulance behind me with its lights and sirens on. I pull over, as I thought you were supposed to do when ambulances come through, and realize I'm the only one. The ambulance is weaving through traffic b/c none of these ******* idiots will pull over for it.

The ambulance was in my view for almost 5 full minutes. And I kept thinking "someone could have died in these 5 minutes that it took b/c people wouldn't pull over."

I don't want to get too country bumpkin-ish here, but back home when there was an ambulance, everybody pulled to a complete stop and let the ambulance go through. When an ambulance or firefighters have their sirens on and are speeding, it means someone's life is in danger. To me, them being able to get there quickly and help the person was more important than the 90 seconds I would save by not pulling over.

That really pissed me off.

Who ever dreamed up the whole concept of the summer cold? Mine is seriously pissing me off.
