Any fresh fruit sitting out on the counters? Don't leave it there... might want to clear the drain with draino or something similar too.

fill a 2 liter bottle with water and vinegar. roll a piece of paper into a cone shaped funnel, wide at the top, and tapering into narrow to fit in the bottle head. the little buggers will fly in for the water and vinegar, and then cant figure out how to get out.
i have done this before and works amazing.

Thanks for the advice. I also should try to keep a clean kitchen. :embar:

When is this music festival ? I'm going there on Monday and I think my airfare is $1400. I thought it was excessive but maybe there's something special going on that day

Last week of June and first week of July. I'm trying to take a long weekend trip after July 4th. Cheapest roundtrip flights from the DC area are now $580 for an ungodly early departure. :fu:

Hope you have time to do the Europea tasting menu. I didn't have time to do it last year (did the abbreviated tasting) and have been waiting one year to go back and try it.

Puerto rican pride celebrations has started early yesterday. I'm all for it, and will be attending some friends parties... but damn there were some gun shots I heard right outside my place last night.

I worked from 7:00am to 12:05am, with an hour break for dinner. On a Friday (and five minutes of a Saturday). And yet I'm a lazy state employee.

So do you need twice the time to finish a day's work, or did you just put it off until the last minute because you didn't feel like working the prior 4 days? Typical state employee

The real fun is in the knife fights, but you can't hear those as well.

Ug I hate doing laundry so much... Just finished four loads. Luckily I did them all at once. I just need to get a maid. They're inexpensive here, but I'm just not used to it.
I got a bit sauced at lunch with a friend in order to handle it. :slayer:

I foresee another post here when your maid ruins you grail piece. :brick:

Not just you, they've skyrocketed. I booked a flight earlier this week and the cost made my eyes water because the fare was substantially higher than when I traveled to those parts a couple years ago.

This, Im flying next week and the cheapest I could find was about 800, thankfully I have a lot of unused miles and it came up to 100 :nodding:

Mine is a trip to Germany in September when rates begin to escalate for those parts. Booking the flight made me want to cry because it was nearly 10 times your original fair. :(

A package says that it was delivered Friday, but it wasn't. So I decide to wait until today to see if maybe they scanned it but didn't deliver it but the postal worker was rude and unhelpful saying "I don't know" and USPS wasn't helpful and told me to call them on Monday. I have finals this week too, but all that's on my mind is the missing package and I just keep getting pissed at the idea of someone stealing them or just going missing and how I'm just fucked out of the money if they're not found since I'm not screwing over the seller for this. The more I think about it the angrier I get and the angrier I get the more I think about it, etc. etc.

^^ I had that happen to me three or four times in the two years that I lived in my previous city. I'd keep going to the post office to find out what was going on, but they were clearly unconcerned. Indeed, it was pretty clear they were annoyed at me for showing up at their office so much. Either that post office was stunningly incompetent or someone was helping himself to my stuff. Either way, it's infuriating, and there's so little you can do about it.

I have posted about this numerous times in this very thread lol, best of luck to you lesamourai. I hope the seller insured the package, if not... :plain:

Thanks. I think the worst part about it is, as l'incandescent said, the fact that there's basically nothing I can do. I'll file a report with the postal inspection service, but I have little faith that will do anything.
