Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
LONGHORNS - Curious about the gay fantasies he's been having, a Texas frat boy sets his sights on hooking up with an openly gay man on campus.

and

BEAR CITY - As he comes to grips with his attraction to big, hair men, cute cub Tyler struggles to figure out this place within the tight-knit bear community.

So which one did you pick?

I was pert near late for work today on account of I spent too much time making sure I hadn't done anything that might cause a fire (such as leave my lights on).

It would be gauche of me to disclose it, but let's just say there are zeros involved.

This was a much better movie than I expected. It is essentially a biopic of the Conneman, especially...

My Facebook feed has turned into a list of people shilling for face cream, body wrap, and tupperware pyramid schemes.

In an effort to cut costs, we are no longer getting direct deposited paychecks - just good old fashioned paper checks. What a pain in the ass.

How does that cut costs? confused.gif

We used to get paid monthly in advance too. They stopped that and now we are twice a month after we work to save money. That makes a lot of cents.

My workplace has instituted a similar policy all internal communication will now be in the form of letters, no more e-mails.

Banks charge a fee for each deposit. Some also charge monthly account fees. Fees fees fees!

I really don't know. We had layoffs so there are less checks to hand out, but I don't understand how it actually cuts costs. I'm guessing there is a cost to send the payments to different accounts, but I don't know.

I tried to special order a bottle of bourbon 2 years ago. I went in the the store I had ordered from a year ago to make sure I was still on the wait list. The manager said "I'll have to look through my papers and find the email from the office in Richmond about it." I asked her why she didn't just search her inbox for my name, and that's when she told me she didn't save emails on the computer - she printed them all out and put them in folders, then deleted the emails. If ever there was an argument against state controlled liquor stores, she is it.

That happened with my wife for about 3 months. Except her company (large investment bank) would send the checks UPS Overnight shipping from Texas of all places. Then of course UPS drivers have to have the UPS envelope(s) signed and they always show up in the middle of the day (when no one is home to receive and sign).

It was a huge clusterfuck, (how can UPS overnight shipping be cheaper than direct deposit?). There was a whole month where her checks were piling up at the UPS shipping center (because we'd be too busy to pick them up during office hours and they were closed on the weekends).

They went back to direct deposits after an uproar.
