Comfort Access is an unfortunate name for a bit of technology.

I always thought the "comfort access" was the act of slotting it in.

Depends on which slit, er, slot you are putting it into it.

Comfort access is stupid. At least the BMW version is. Yes, the concept is that you can open your door and start your car without rummaging for your keys in your pocket or purse, but the sensitivity sucks and the key battery gets drained quickly. So instead of the seamless experience you see in the commercial, you're left out there finger banging your car door in the rain

having said that, if the need for a car arises, it's either a BMW or a Fiat Abarth. Nothing else.

My roommate has a Fiat 500 non Abarth. He's a few inches shorter than I am but seems to fit fine. I still worry about if I'd actually fit in one of them comfortably enough...

we rented one last labor day (we seem to talk about my rental cars a lot. I'll be sure to keep you posted about my Memorial Day rental). Anyways, I loved it. I loved it in the first 5 minutes and I loved it after 4 days. For such a small car, we thought it was surprisingly spacious. Cockpit was totally fine, and the back was suitable. My 6'2" 240lb father in law climbed in the back seats for a small drive around the beach town we were in, and he was generally fine (probably not for 3+ hours back there, but you get my drift). We had luggage and stopped at a Wegmans to load up on groceries for our trip back, no space issues. If you ever have the chance to drive it, give it a go. I've rented lots of crappy little cars, and this was way more fun and way more stable at high speeds than anything else I've rented (excluding the Ferrari while in France).

I've always like the Abarth but I always felt that I'd look like a giant vagina driving one (cue joaks about it not being the car)

Speaking of rental cars, we're spending the weekend with friends down on the west coast of FL and they have gotten it into their heads to rent a car and all drive down together. It is really fucking hard to find a rental car that seats 7 without going with a full size van.

Hertz is offering me a decent deal on a Mercedes GL450 - Piob or anyone, can I fit two adults (5'8" and under) in the third row on these fuckers?

If I had a car it might be the Cadillac CTS-V

nah, that's what the Prius is for.

also, before you get into a car with 7 adults, down a frozen burrito, and let that be a lesson to them.

Interesting. I pegged you as a TSX type of dude.
I don't even know what a TSX is.

you must have never met Booth IRL. A Caddy, as meh as I kind of assume they are, is his car.

Apparently the CTS-V is insane. But I don't follow cars very much. I saw an SL55 AMG. It looked nice. I could see myself in that. Black, of course.

They will fit fine but you'll have very little space for luggage.
