terrible night. had an allergy attack last night and since I haven't had one in maybe 2 years I don't have meds anymore. very weird too since it did subside for a while then I ate some nuts (which I'm not allergic to) and then it came back and I was itching all over the whole night. the whole night was a cycle of falling asleep for a while and then waking up to an unbearable itch.

also, yesterday we celebrated the perfectly dysfunctional relationship between me and my parents. hooray!

Was just starting to finally feel sorta kinda okay after being abruptly and mysteriously dumped last Monday, and then stupid me opened up Facebook tonight and bam right at the top of the page: she's in a relationship - with her roommate. Feeling really dumb for not deleting her right away.

Instantly severing all comms channels is a good way to prevent any future troubles.

I cannot think of a better start to a day than sitting in a train with no power. Really awesome.

Jesus, a little fucking rain shuts the whole state down. Schools suck these days. They should just close the whole thing for the winter, as that's practically what they're doing anyways, only sending parents scrambling to make work arrangements.

Tree limb fell on my car while driving into the office this morning.

There was a downed limb in the right lane, so traffic moved into the left. As soon as I pass through - boom. Not too bad, a fist-sized dent to the read pillar (by the rear windshield), paint a bit torn up where the impact was and scratches to the trunk and spoiler.

Dropped a 60" Jorgensen clamp on my foot, first thing this morning.....sigh and the blood is running out from behind the bandage.

On the plus side I finished my espresso before attending to my injury.

my daughter tells us when her tummy needs apples. it's charming, but she's three.

this is going to be a bitch to shovel.

Had to shovel this morning... eight or so inches. No fun.

Storm was all ice here. Roads were more or less fine, but the sidewalks are terrifying. No shoveling, but I was seriously worried I was going to die walking to and from my car. One hour delayed start for work, whatever good that does.

Just received a call from Amex - someone tried to charge about $1k on my plat at Hugo Boss. Apparently Amex knew that I'd never shop there. Will have a new card by 10:30am tomorrow.

Whereas if it had been at WvG they would have said, "Guess Mauro got some new fabrics in -- run that puppy through!"

oh absolutely - that would've sailed through.

what really pisses me off is that I have had that card for years - I can rattle off the number faster than I can my bday. Now I have to start over.
