My next day off isn't until Feb 16. Expect a similar post on the 17th.

Head down 70 my way. I woke up at 4:30 to thunder, a torrential downpour that froze damn near instantly and hail that froze to the top of that. Everything is covered in a nice thick layer of frozen hell. I need to move to the tropics.

You'd think there'd be more information about Fake Razor Ramón online.

Today was the first day that I can remember that was not frigid, miserable, and I did not wake up feeling like shit. I am fiending for the sun. I have a tonne of yardwork that I am looking forward to this spring.

Spent the day running errands. Stores are mobbed with people. Miserable.

Just finished making my base for tomatillo soup... tomorrow. Not too bad for my first try.

Went to bed at 12:45 a.m. and it was raining - had been all day - woke up to find another few inches of snow on the ground. Streets are covered AGAIN. Tired of this, seems like every other day we have a snow storm. Putting me in an awful mood.

Just got a crazy craving for Chikfila. Why does Jesus deny us chicken on Sundays?

Well, the pork is in the smoker (although I don't know that I got great quality smoke during the time the meat would actually take it).

I don't know what happened with the sausages...I think my fat probe thermometers were having trouble getting good readings off the skinny snack sticks. Think I might have broken the fat even though the thermometers never actually showed high enough numbers for that to have happened.

I do visual checks just to see how many drips I'm getting when I do sausage of any kind. So easy for that to happen and then your texture can go to hell.

So that we will know how he suffered for our sins.

Hear that on the news this morning they stated that it was an OD? Such a waste he was an incredibly talented actor.

Otherwise the heat getting a bit fed up with this run of 36c plus been this way for nearly two weeks.
