I'll tell you what is pissing me off today....
When I was young (20's) I could easily clean many messes in one day, no problem. Home cleaning was a snap.
Many mountains later, I am doing my spring cleaning. There are many messes. I mentally calibrate how long each mess will take to clean, concluding there are not enough hours in a day to do them all.
I decide to leave it until tomorrow where I will repeat this logic cycle. It is a Rubicks Cube trap, though I am convinced when I mentally calibrate the right order of what has to be done before the other, I will be able to do it all in one day.

you have to lower the activation energy required for the reaction to proceed at appreciable rates

if it's not that important of a thing like cleaning your house one thing you could do is promise yourself that you'll do 15 minutes of cleaning right now. When the 15 minutes is up if you feel like doing more you can do more, but if not you accomplished 15 minutes of cleaning.

I suck at keeping my place clean. I'm good about keeping actually dirty things clean (like the toilet or the kitchen counters after cooking...and I vacuum the living room rug like 3 times a week) but clutter and clothing is a constant struggle that I don't do well with.

Thanks to the magic of the CTA Transit Tracker though I managed to empty the dishwasher and take care of a couple other quick things today during my venture home to get my ID without actually making it take any longer to get back to work.

Don't feel bad. I yelled at the KitchenAid voice-activated automatic menu the other day.

I also threw a roll of toilet paper across the room. That is probably something to feel at least a little bad about. (I'm glad there was no video of this event.)

Seems like a win to me. They pay you when they don't even need you.

The roll of toilet paper that I threw across the room was almost used up, so it floated through the air like a knuckle ball. It did not give me the satisfaction I was hoping for. (For the sake of context, I should add that I was using it in lieu of Kleenex. I am too cheap to buy Kleenex.)
