Bar/Clubs.

I was just in the highest-end establishment in our reasonably sized town and its a horrible sight. Middle aged people nodding to each other because they can't hear anything over the music. Drinking 241 cocktails until they walk into walls on seats so uncomfortable that I'd rather stand.

I know I'm young and supposed to put up with this bullshit in exchange for "being sociable" but *******, I'd rather drop £100 on a nice restaurant and actually be able to hear the person I'm dining with, not wake up with a hangover and not get rubbed up against by horrible gold-digger 20-somethings that want to drink for free.

God damn what I wouldn't give to have a proper bar like at the Savoy somewhere near by.

Had the worst nightmare I've had in years last night. I was with my daughter in an alleyway and we were being chased. I stop and tell my daughter to run, thinking I can hold the chasers off, but there are two of them and one of them runs right by me, so I'm running after him and the other one is chasing me and the one in front is getting farther away while the one behind me is getting closer. :fu:

Woke up sweating.

Feel the exact same way. Just take me somewhere where the music isn't too loud and the beer is very very cold. Though, I see you're from across the pond, so you may not want your beer as cold as I want mine.
