Clubs are expensive. I'm good enough and also not dumb enough to go out and buy the $300 Wal-Mart branded set that includes all 14 clubs or whatever. But by the time I spend $400 on last year's Burner irons, $150 on a decent sale priced driver, another $100 on a 3- and 5-wood, $100 on a solid putter.... we're at $850 without a bag or a sand wedge (or tax). And that's being pretty budget-conscious.

i have some clubs that i sell you for a lot cheaper than that if you're interested... (putter & driver).

Things I don't buy:
- cheap hookers
- used shoes
- used golf clubs

i don't agree with the used golf clubs... but i'm in the school of thought that if i hit em once they're used anyway.

if you're using forged irons, they're going to get dinged up after one session... then again, i switch clubs pretty frequently so, eh.

A conversation with my cat from about 10 minutes ago:
Genevieve: Help I'm stuck in the carpet it's pissing me off.
Me: Hold on sweetie, I'll get you out.
Genevieve: Stop pulling me out of the carpet it's pissing me off.
Me: If you'd let me clip your nails, that wouldn't happen.
Genevieve: Don't you ever clip my nails no more it pisses me off.
Me: I give up.

Mordecai's wife is your cat? Does he know about this? :uhoh:

Random Drug Test this morning at work. Even though I don't do drugs for some reason I get really nervous.

:( i hope you find a good way to at least manage the situation, if not fix it.

Thanks, dude. The insoles help, but they're huge and don't fit all of my shoes, which actually brings me to another reason it pisses me off: I can't wear the shoes I want to wear all the time. Daily wearing of leather soled shoes is out, likewise with wearing stuff like Top Siders if I'm going to be on my feet for any real length of time. It's very non-SF.

I basically have this on my left. I think my arch got fucked up from carrying around so much weight and it always gives me pain in the form of plantar facitis. Tried everything - shots, custom orthos, insoles, and nothing works. I think it cascades up my leg as well. I'm firmly convinced that my current left hamstring/inner thigh problem that's, either a hernia or a torn muscle stems, from a new pair of shoes that I tried out that left me all fucked up.

Interesting. I hate to hear that someone else is dealing with this hassle, but it makes me feel better that I'm not alone. My big issue is figuring out what is the cause and what is a symptom.

Strassburg Sock might help with the arch problem and might be worth a try, probably won't do anything for the main problem though.

This looks like it might be very helpful. Thanks!

:(

I hope she's feeling better ASAP. Stomach bugs are the worst. Seriously, I'm pretty sure Hell is one long stomach bug.

Heat is broken, hot water heater is still broken, the little lady's computer is not working, and I'm not sure if it's allergies or stress or I'm getting sick but I feel like ****.

I paid $50 for Genevieve, so I've got a rightful claim on her. Irreguardless what anyone else says.

Its next to impossible to find a free clinic or low cost health center without being homeless, sitting in an ER for 8 hours, or on the verge of death. Jesus.

Damn, sorry to hear that.
