Really puts the bullshit we whine about here in perspective, doesn't it?

what really sucks about that is the island hardest hit by the earthquake, bohol, is probably one of the best island around here... rows and rows of fine beach, forests, mangroves, centuries old architecture.. and the residents there have learned to keep their island that way- no big hotel chain, no malls, no red light district... so after the earthquake a lot of the historical buildings and churches were severely damaged, then this storm hits them.

we just got wind and rain last night where I live so we are pretty lucky.... and bbaquiran is okay except for his pirate eye... and yeah from what he posted and what I saw in the news, things where your parents are have gone to hell. a friend of mine with a farm said all their mango and mahogany trees are gone. I imagine a lot of farms in that area are destroyed too. no one knows how many have perished yet until they start evaluating the damages which probably just started as I'm writing this.

+++++

and another thing pissing me off- my employee with the brain tumor passed away last night too. time to have her desk cleaned.

The guy who voted for Melo is a big dummy. Melo wasn't even top 10 in win share last year so how could he possibly mean more to the Knicks than LBJ to the Heat?

I hate this...Why not take the listing down?

I heard back from someone last week, like 2 days after my email and they said it sold within hours of the initial posting. Then why was it still up?
If it sold that fast (and I was still interested later), that means there were probably a bunch of people contacting you about it. If you just took down the listing via the handy link they gave you when you made it, you wouldn't get ANY emails.

At least the people who say "If you are reading this, then it is still for sale" know what's up.

Yeah, and two of the people i was REPLYING to.

One guy was responding to me wanting to buy some football tickets - I replied that I would be available all day and where/when would be best to meet him. Still nothing.

Another lady I asked her about a dining set I want to buy, again saying that I would be available all day today - she emailed me back this morning and said today wasn't good. I replied that I'm free tomorrow before a certain time and . . . nothing. WTF.

So all the "education specialists" of which I encounter in professional life be like "uhh, hoo hoo, uh, the millennial student of today, uh, must needs learn of multisensory environment, uhh, in order that their native wisdom shall dwell forth, uhh, in the mindspace. Uhh, I'd like to see you integrate a uhh, a multisensory environment in your learnspace."

Well I'll tell you what people need to be careful what they ask for. If any of those tin corn bittays want to come and observe my class, they're gonna see me teach my lessons in the form of puppet theater. And then I will ask "Is my learnspace multisensory enough for you?" (rhetorical question do not care what the answer is).

Hot Pockets = Gen X. They came to market in the 80s for us latch key kids. However, you have hit a point as they were revisioned and contain GMO soy now.

I don't think I've had one since the 90's. I used to eat a ham and cheddar almost everyday after school and never regretted it.
