i keep quite a big variety of hot stuff in my pantry including but not limited to cayenne, basic italian-style pepper mix, and ghost pepper powder. In the fridge, it's sriracha, Lao Gan Ma spicy chili crisp, some fermented Korean chili paste, tabasco, chipotle tabasco, cholua, Dinosaur firey habanero sauce, some barbados sweet habanero sauce, and Dave's Insanity Sauce, which is the hottest by a mile.

also, i'm still working through a half pound of ghost pepper salami.

a few weeks ago, my inlaws gave me this. it wasn't joking around, but I managed to finish the bag (over the course of a few days)

That's an impressive collection of spicy goodness. I just keep it simple with sriracha but I am on the lookout for hot sauces that aren't too potent on the vinegar front.

I just downed thai-native spice tom yum soup and I'm pretty sure my shit is gonna be painful, though not as painful as the ones you took after eating that jerky. uhoh.gif

Gawd I fucking love tom yum soup.

go get some Dave's insanity sauce (it's easy to find), try a dot on a chip, and then consult with this thread. thanks.

srsly, it's a good sauce to have around when you want to spice something like chili up, but don't want to add the flavor from things like sriracha.

you know what's awesome? take a wheat thin and put a quarter-sized squirt of sriracha on it, and then consume.

While I love sriracha, I'm an even bigger fan of that chilli garlic sauce they have at thai restaurants. Not too spicy but I love the flavor.

The Japanese do versions of that called taberu rāyu they are generally even less spicy, but delicious.

How could the multiple goodness of banana with peanut butter make anyone (non allergic sissies) feel unwell?

Even though the semester is drawing to a close, I've got a student who all of a sudden wants me to start calling him by a new name, which is "The Texan," on account of he thinks that would be a cool nickname. I said no way in hell am I going to call him a name that begins with "The." Also I explained how you can't give yourself a nickname. I said that on Styleforum website, when members proposed nicknames for themselfs, they got more than they bargained for (in a bad way).

So today we had a fresh influx of halloween candy and someone brought in brownies.

Which meant I have consumed a number of both.

THat means I am now of an ill feeling in the stomach (nausea) and my teeth are aching (presumably from an excess amount of sucrose [sugar]).

Best friend has pretty severe liver damage. I've never been so heartbroken in my life. 25 years old.

I'm writing in Daniel Patrick Moynihan for a random office, as I do each year.

I just ate an Au Bon Pain blueberry muffin of which I now regret ingesting, as the calories are numerable (460).
