I didn't get the job.
I applied for a position at DHL. Apparently they liked me as a person but they had doubts whether I could manage working in a large company. I currently work in a company with one other person, my boss. I got the feeling I had failed during the interview when they had asked about experiences related to group work. Oh well, one door shut, another one will open eventually
Got any non-profit/charity work in your resume? Might be a way to get some temwork under your belt.
This. Many smaller charities have surprisingly low standards for board members. Volunteer for a few projects, chat up the board members, join the board, and voila, you have group experience. If you're really ambitious volunteer for one of the ****** officer jobs that no one wants - treasurer or secretary.
any tips on how to actually do this/where I would find organizations like this? figure I'll get on this earlier rather than later.
On some workdays, that's all I do.
Not without severe modifications, or a hovercraft mod on your pickup. When we bought it, we were told by a few people we would have no trouble sailing it to Mexico or New Orleans. It has a 5' draft and weighs 6500#
And, FWIW, we put in a lot of work, but some work remains, so the asking price is pretty reasonable.
Instead of buying a Mountain Dew tonight on my way home like a real man would do, I chose an artisan soda from some pretentious local soda bottler and I regret it terribly.
My boss is the master of sending an outlook meeting request and 1 minute before the meeting sending out a revision pushing it back another half an hour. Then he keeps doing it like 100 times and I get nothing of substance accomplished because I am in constant anticipation of getting up to go to a meeting.

What's the best way to deal with incessantly whingeing splitarses at work?
+1Sack them if you can.
I made the mistake of buying one of those cokes once. It was many years ago, and I only made it once. For some reason, coke is something that is only good when mass produced by a big corporation.
