Things that are pissing you off. - Page 3403

One of the things I like about where I live is that I can come out of my community, make one right turn, go through a stop sign, and I'm right on the highway. It's usually a 30-45 second undertaking.

Well this morning a semi truck and flatbed truck decided to muck up the proceedings and single handedly increase that time to 10 minutes. With normal traffic all around.

Something similar happened to me yesterday leaving work. So infuriating. When stuff like that happens, I just sit there thinking, "I can deal with most of my commute, as it's a necessary evil and all, but adding 10 minutes because people are stupid is pretty much the equivalent of stealing time from my life."

Considering how people conduct themselves ,what they watch on tv , how they drive, twitter,Facebook ,celebrity obsession , the political arena etc,etc,etc............I would think inane conversations fit right in

The irony of conversing on other people's inane conversations.

I do the same thing all the time. I'm not exactly going around listening to other people's conversations, but you can't help but overhear. I'm often shocked to discover what other people deem fit to discuss, mostly because I don't get why such trite items are even worthy of knowing.

I feel like eating lunch now. Does anyone else find it odd how sometimes you get real hungry at like 11, and then some days you aren't at all?

Your inner fatass is trying to claw its way out.

Eh. I judge people who like to fill their time talking about dumb stuff. I'm not really ashamed to admit that.

Ed, I implore you to introspect about your insecurities that have been causing you to feel such anger and resentment towards me.

You're the only person on this forum who goes out of his way to semi-seriously insult me, and while I would love to engage you in a battle of wits for hours-on-end, sadly, you are unarmed.

How old are you, again? Genuinely curious.

The woman behind me on the plane yesterday was a total winner (both her pre-takeoff phone call and her attempted interactions with the man next to her). Hopefully I will have time later to do the storytelling justice.

My son's daycare just called my wife and told her he's got some stomach bug and needs to go home. On Friday before a three-day weekend filled with plans. Awesome.
