Things that are pissing you off. - Page 3250

Yeah, I feel like I'm definitely in the right on this one. If she was confirming the information, she should have it already. If they're so worried about protecting that information that they refuse to share it over the phone, I'm pretty sure they should be able to understand that I feel the same way, especially given it's, you know, my information.

Truth be told, it was probably legit, but I couldn't really confirm that and expecting me to do it that way is just bad business. The thing that really surprises me, assuming it is real, is that people must be receptive enough to doing business this way that it's their SOP. It is really standard practice for people to just offer up information simply because the person on the other end of the line asks for it?

I wear a Cartier tank daily, so Monday I am moving things around at work, reach to plug in a lamp because I can see the plug is coming out of the socket. As I lift my arm back up I catch my watch on a ledge. Tore the alligator strap. Kind of an oh-shit moment, but the lugs and even the pins were unharmed.

I think, alright it was getting pretty old anyhow, since upon closer inspection the liner had cracked in a few places and the bucket had worn a track into it. I buy a new cartier alligator strap and have it shipped overnight. Comes with tools to install, I install it. Nice, new, tan. No more than 2 hours later I get an oil stain on it while having lunch with my sleeves rolled up.

Tan will eventually patina with use, but wtf...two hours.

I emailed the finance manager at the dealership where I bought the car, and he said he wasn't aware of any need for someone to contact me regarding the loan.

I've always had a terror of tripping while going up a flight of cement stairs and smashing all the teeth out of my mouth. If it actually happened I'd be seriously pissed off.

My cousin actually performed the self-curb stomp on himself when we were kids. Luckily no permanent teeth lost

Where I grew up "jobbie" slang for a union worker. Where I grew up there is also a pretty large contingent of pleasure boats and partying on small islands. A few decades ago a "jobbie nooner" came to mean a big island party where people would just check out of work at noon and start partying. This grew into official events and they just had a huge one with about 10k people showing up.

Sexual assault is a crime. Just because she is showing them to you does not give you permission to touch. Don't be a douchebag!

Good thing they have a reminder in the official rules.
