I ate a shitload of hummus today and I'm already feeling bloated. I suspect there's about four times as many calories per serving than you'd like to believe are in something made of healthy stuff.

Try some Beano prior next time and you'll not be so bloated.

Don't know if any of you have seen the new Phoenix Suns logos that have been leaked to the media, but Jiminy Crickets, come on! I do not like them one bit.

this would make a cool t-shirt when its faded and patina-ed. but for an actual jersey to play with? it doesn't matter because the suns will suck for the next 5-10 years anyway. laugh.gif

sorry suns fans. shog[1].gif

How can the Suns remove purple from their color scheme? It is absurd. Also, the different logos look like they were created by completely different design teams who did not communicate with each other at all. Just burns me up inside even thinking about it. (Okay, that probably overstates it a bit. But still.)

I'm partial to this one, because it was the loyal to the original 1960's jerseys:

An ebay bidder has me sketched out, but he is winning two of my items right now and has asked a question about a third (which is not related to the other two). Not sure if I should block him (I hate to cut competition), but I feel weird.

He has twice retracted bids on one of the items he is winning (both amounts are within $5 of his current bid, but he retracted one on the 19th and one yesterday).

He is the guy I mentioned before who sent me a question that was like "Why would you set the subwoofer on a concrete wall and scratch it up" (I responded that I am not an idiot and was careful about placing the *broken* subwoofer so that I could photograph it). Now he is the top bidder on that same subwoofer and is bidding on another part of the speaker system as well (the item he has twice retracted bids on).

He also asked several days ago for additional measurements of a monitor I am selling. I never responded to that question (the monitor is packed up and I didn't want to measure something you could get from googling) since I figured someone else would just buy it.

Hopefully he isn't the end winner...

B&s and ebay bidders ask the weirdest questions sometimes

One dude asked what my suit size and brand was... On a gloves classified

One other dude kept asking questions about ninja sox. Like asking for pictures and measurements and how they fit

The weird questions don't bother me so much as the fact that he has twice retracted bids on an item he is winning. He is also selling a few items very similar to mine (including an older version of what he is bidding on) and has a reasonably large buying and selling history...so he should know how it works and thus a couple of his questions seem really dumb.

My guess is that he was using his retracted bids to test the water on what the other high bidder's top bid was...which tells me that he is probably cheap and won't win in the end (I usually expect large surges in the last few minutes of any items with a few bids and a bunch of watchers).
