Hmmm... sitting on a plane awaiting takeoff to the vicinity so to speak, but not NYC. I don't think a poplin suit for a business casual meeting was a wise decision, given the weather.

So my $1,000 umbrella I have been waiting for for months from Germany was sent back to Germany without being delivered at my address. WTF?!?!?!?!!? Shipping companies of all kinds suck my fucking balls. ffffuuuu.gif

Are you pissed off that it got sent back or because you spent a stack on an umbrella?

Eat a dick.

Rude.

I don't think $1000 qualifies as a 'stack' in PB's line of work.

And I've seen some awesome umbrellas in that range that I would gladly spend 1k on.

A stack is slang for $1,000. It's not relative to income.

In that case, a stack may not be that concerning.

i would not have in issue per say spending a stack on an umbrella. a brick however, that i dont think i could do.

my only fear would be that it is nearly impossible to not lose an umbrella or have someone take it without asking.... too high risk for me.

A $1,000 umbrella is probably a better buy than a $1,200 Burberry trench coat. Those things don't look good on anyone. Except when they are short and tight on pretty ladies.

Agree to disagree. I love my Burberry trench.

Wore it this morning, for all the good it did me.

for my money, when its really raining hard, the only way to go is a full length (to the top of your shoes) thick plastic cattlemans rain coat and boot height galoshes. only way to actually stay dry.

I misspelled two people's names in the same story yesterday. It was a small story and ultimately inconsequential but... ugh. Means I got it 100% wrong.

The way to go for me is to get into my car while it's in my home garage and drive it into the covered garage at work tongue.gif
