Hell, when my son was an infant, I accidentally lost about 20 pounds, I'm guessing due to the stress and being sick all the time during his first year of daycare.

It "caught up with" my dad when he was ~50. Took him seven or eight years to admit it, then he started watching what he eats to a limited extent (no more eating half a gallon of ice cream three times a week, etc) and he lost like 40 lbs.

I have to scratch and claw to stay in shape, although I've got some other shit going on on that front.

Been eating nothing but junk food lately and I feel sluggish. Fortunately, no significant weight gain though.

Just polished off my second grilled cheese sandwich of the day and 10 DD munchkins.

Ordering upper crust to the office for dinner soon.

Oops, wrong thread!

USPS lost an umbrella I sent about three miles away. They literally told me I'm screwed and there's nothing they can do.

Awesome!

There's a little part of me that was kind of hoping it was something interesting, but, for your sake, I'm glad to hear it was just a freakishly bad battery.

A fair point. Of course, there's a lot of other stuff in my bloodline that could catch up with me, but at least it's all more interesting than heart disease.

Definitely some victories along the way but so many pains in the ass and stress points that I really don't have the time or the ability to enjoy them.

Hmmm...I'll let you know in about 16 years! laugh.gif

Truth be told, I generally eat pretty well, owing mostly to the wife, but I am proud of my body's ability to tolerate some pretty egregious dietary abuse.
