Yeah, I agree -- don't really get the wole thing... I guess most Japanese housewives wouldn't stumble across those types of sites during their daily web browsing... so these sites are probably akin to "trophy" sites that Japanese men swap back and forth with each other after business trips... there are also similar sites for the whole "Fuzoku" sex trade in Japan that these guys frequent (which includes, but is not limited to, "Turkish" bath houses, massage parlors of ill repute, hostess bars, "health" spas, "fashion clubs" - they're not what they sound like! etc. etc. etc.) where particulars on each girl are discussed - who's the best at this, who's the best at that, who will take it in the ying-yang, etc. etc. It's really quite analytical... and quite disturbing to my Western sensibilities...

Ah, the wonders of a repressive culture.

My tailor/store fucked up my linen R. Caruso suit, my pants look like capri pants now.
I got a new wool suit from the new collection in exchange though, that fits me extremely well with only minor alterations, and paid next to nothing for the well fitting linen jacket that looks like a sportcoat in every detail, dimension and fabric.

They handled it well, it did ruin my morning though.

Felt much better in the afternoon though, after we worked out an agreement.

- Overdraft fees.
- My rooster crowing all day, beginning at 5:00 AM.
- The FedEx guy not arriving when he's supposed to. I am on the verge of shitting myself yet I must make myself available to sign for a package.
- My eBay auctions not selling for the amount I expect them to.
- Fall not coming soon enough.

...and breath.

I lost my fucking glasses. Absolutely no idea where they are. I can't really function without them so I'm totally freaking out right now. I have a backup pair but, conveniently, those broke a while ago.

Was walking to the bars last night. An obviously drunk driver went flying around a corner down the wrong way on a one-way street, and almost nailed a guy on a bike. He then screeched the tires and made a u-turn in the middle of the street. In the process he went right by a cop who was sitting in a bank parking lot. The cop did nothing but yell something at him thru the open window. As I walked past the cop car, I said "nice work, jackass". The A-hole cop tails me thru the parking lot, flashes his lights, gets out, checks my ID, pats me down for weapons or drugs...totally unnecessary.

Please gawds tell me you got his name and badge number and reported him. Please?! I'm just old and arrogant enough to not put up with that shit. I would go straight to his superior, and then that guy's superior and right up the line until I had the mayor or governor.

I hate assholes like this. I was once pulled over for telling a cop that he ran a red light. He did it because I was 17 and he could. He knew there was nothing I could say that wouldn't result in him giving me a ticket for some bullshit reason. Fucker. I still hate that guy. No clue who he is, but it forever solidified in me a distrust in cops.
