People who don't exercise correct lane discipline on roads. We'd all get where we need to go faster and more safely if they did.

I want to get there early and browse around the new upgrades to MSG, but the wife can't make it that early so I'll just email her a ticket. I need to save the PDF to my desktop, so I do, but I generally dislike standard file naming conventions, so I just name it the first thing that comes to my head - "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Boner". Done. I send it off to her, and 5 minutes later I get an email saying the firm's email security system has "flagged my email for review". My group's MD is CC'ed. I explain what I did, he finds it hilarious, all is resolved quickly, wife gets it, asks wtf is wrong with me, then prints it off.

This is amazing. People have been fired for less at my company. This one time my friend emailed me this essay complaining about his love life. I forwarded it to my work email so I could quickly respond on the keyboard and not my phone. Well I hit send after typing some nasty shit and I got a similar message about it getting filtered and this and that. I immediately started searching for new jobs. I mentioned it to my HR rep and she told me that's nothing, as long as nobody was offended and forwarded it to HR I am not in trouble. As it turns out I got a lot of job bites too. Some even some friends who couldn't find jobs were jealous of. PB's gotta fight them away.

I'm cycling to work and it is bloody dangerous because people have no space awareness and some of them poor reflexes..

oh, and these motherfucker internal revenue guys are doing audits and I need to generate tons of reports that honestly means nothing to these fuckers.

F, very sorry to hear this. Incredible that she is 95, I can't imagine living that long. Clearly a strong woman.

It's one of those things that make you wonder how you lived without it.

Hoping she passes peacefully too, AB. Also hope those IR guys choke on your reports!

When they do it on their papers, I cross out the Mr. and write Dr. But when they do it in e-mails or in conversation, I can't cross out their words.

I thought for a minute you wanted them to call you by your first name..

Just to be clear, it doesn't really piss me off that much; this would have been better in the things I don't get thread. (Although I certainly would prefer that they not call me Mr.) It's just odd that university students, who should have developed the habit of calling their professors Dr. So and So, have retained the high school norm of calling people Mr. So and So. (These aren't all freshmen, and even if they were, we're in the spring semester now. They should know.)

Also, and more importantly by far, acidboy, I hope your grandmother passed peacefully.

The downside of ownership. I hate it. Be glad you do not have things like property tax, landscaper, etc.
