I have tickets to see Larry Carlton (jazz guitar legend) in Chicago tomorrow. Might not be able to go because my kitty is having another medical emergency. (Of course the part about Genevieve is the worse part.)

Bills, bills, bills, bills, bills! They never stop coming!

I've been living so frugally the past couple months and have saved so much money.. only to have practically ALL of it go to BILLS.

FML -- so many custom blazers, pants, suits, and shirts I could have bought instead frown.gif

I hope little Genevieve pulls through okay. I'm sending well-wishes her way.

No matter how much money you make if you don't take in significantly more than you send out you'll never get ahead.

Budgeting, its what you should be telling companies and departments to do as well.

Right. No one got rich by spending money.

These are all large ticket, one-off bills.. namely my tax and auto repair bill..

Just don't pay them. What's the worst that could happen? Your lights, water, cable and internet get cut off? Big deal, start a fire in your living room and bring in water from the spring.

lol THOSE bills.. that reminds me of the talk a few days ago about roommates and such.

I'm a roommate's dream come true: I split the bills in half with you, yet consume less than 25% of the resources. I'm away from home 80% of the time, which gives you a LOT of days to walk around butt naked if you pleased.

I almost got ran over by two cars chasing each other a couple minutes ago. I was walking in a pedestrian lane during a walk signal. It looked like some teens fucking around. I guess I could've died, but I was really in the mood for pizza.

Glad you didn't get run over.

Something similar happened to me while walking the dog a year or two ago. In this case a woman driving one car was chasing a man driving another. They didn't even slow down at an intersection where they were supposed to stop. It was good I hadn't begun to cross the street.

most times when I cross an intersection, I'm amazed that there's not more pedestrians hit by cars.

and then gothamist published some stats from the NYPD and the frequency shocked me.

I'm a bad roommate, as I would be walking around butt naked 100% of the time

Kids are worse. Their hands are frozen in the shape of a cell phone.

That's generally a no no. BCC is a way to quickly become hated.

I always thought it was buck. Have I been wrong all these years?

I was stunned with how people drove in L.A. when LC and I flew down last weekend. It seemed like a full 5 seconds of red light time was needed before people would actually stop. We stumbled upon a wreck, people honked for seemingly no reason, left hand turns struck the fear of god in us and everyone was texting, talking or using the internet on their phones. Morons is all I can say.

the non-stop honkers in NYC annoy me. Don't be pissed off that you're driving a car and are stuck in traffic in a city where a car is totally unnecessary for transportation.
