You rich bastard. Who spends a couple Gs on a raincoat?!
I do. I'm not rich either. I just don't buy tons of cheap shit. I buy less of better shit. You have a BMW, I have my raincoat. Priorities, mang.

I think I screwed up my alarm clock or something when making the DST change (or just managed to get up and turn it off across the room without realizing it). Woke up with a "HOLY SHIT WTF" feeling at 10:40 today....wet down my hair and hopped in a cab.

Think it worked out ok though...the big boss on this project is working from home today and there hadn't been any direct requests yet so maybe nobody even knew I was late until I sent an email saying I was on my way.

When I was deployed I was up at 2 or 4 am everyday and walked uphill both ways to my truck.

We need a get off my lawn emoticon.

I had to be in at 8am today. Getting out of bed was a serious struggle. Thanks DST.

whiners. I dislike DST on religious grounds but other than that (and a baby who wouldn't get to sleep until midnight) it didn't bother me.

I actually prefer DST to real time...I wish we could stay on DST at all times.
Maybe I just need to move from the eastern side of my time zone to the western side which should have a similar effect.

Morning sunlight is meh...in the winter it's not light in the morning even with regular time, and in the summer it is light in the morning regardless. Evening sunlight is much more useful though...

I love enjoy December's length of sunlight. I like driving to work in the dark and have it dark by 6pm.

I never notice the difference with DST.

My new "fashion anklet" severely limits my footwear choices.
