Pissing me off is staying home tonight due to this cold. Missing a good happy hour right now and later on tonight I'm missing an industry tasting downtown. Outside of needing to chill and conserve energy my palate if screwed up and the wine would be lost on me. Hoping to be ready to go out tomorrow night as we've something cool planned.

I just learned that the name for what this woman does is uptalking or high rising terminals with vocal fry tones. I am pissed off from watching YouTube videos of what these things sound like.

I don't like the term "Functioning Alcoholic". Some of us don't merely function, but actually excel, and I would guess might not do so otherwise. I prefer the term, "Excelling Alcoholic".

Worked until a little after 1pm, but I'm on call tonight. If the shoe doesn't drop within a couple of hours I will likely be returning to the office at 9AM tomorrow.
