Someone collects the check, but selling people on the notion that they have more than a billionth of a chance to win is the scam. I have yet to see anyone in an S500 buy a lottery ticket. This is target marketed directly at the poor.

Of course the one day I pick to fly across the country happens to be the day that a big storm arrives. Flight already delayed by over an hour but they're still telling me to get to the airport at the regular time. I know I'm in for a long, long afternoon.

Something similar has happened to me. When it starts to run low, sometimes I don't realize that the DO is lower than the edges of the plastic in some areas, and I don't realize it until I get the "I'm applying my DO with razor blades" feeling.
