At my company if you go to a website that is blocked this silly screen comes up with a "reason" for the site being blocked. Every so often under the reason category it will just read "Tasteless". I get seriously offended by this because taste is something 99% of the people I work with lack. For them to tell me what is of taste or not is seriously ironic.
Other silly reasons for some sites being blocked include, "Folklore", and "The Occult"
Reason for Leather Soul Hawaii's site being blocked: "Games".

I think it's hilarious how they pretend to treat you as a rational interlocutor, presenting you with "reasons" for their unilateral decisions! They might as well just say "because we chose to block it, that's why." At least it would be more honest.

i dont get promoted because i am at the highest level there is in this stupid company besides owning it. and i dont get a normal salary because i am not a brother of the owners.

now i am pissed off.

i do work with customers, but i also have salesmen that get paid commision, whereas i get a salary. as manager all that matters for me really is that i hit my numbers. so i let my salespeople do their best so they can get more money and be happy, and i step in when needed.

also, in a 10 hour day there is lots of down time. so if i dont have any administrative duties and no customers need me all i do is sit at a desk and surf the web.

i wouldnt know. i only have worked in small to medium sized family owned businesses. they suck.
