I listened to an obese nurse today go on about the reason she is fat is due to Monsanto. She "read" how Monsanto has so altered wheat seeds that the reason everyone is fat is due to Monsanto wheat. Further, Monsanto has made all wheat farmers sign a contract so that they must pay Monsanto for every non-Monsanto wheat plant planted or get sued for "copyright infringement."

This woman has ill people under her care on a daily basis. Fucking scary, no?

That is a chilling story! I am so thankful I have avoided Monsanto wheat during my 40 years of life!

I just had a bottle of goose island 312...and it was bottled in new York.

Wtf is that shit? I think they have been doing this for a while but this is the first time I've had it in a bottle and looked at the origin since they left chicago.

I am not who I used to be anymore..

Had a dinner with ample alcohol yesterday, but not nearly as much (or so I thought) to induce a hangover.

It did.

Now I'm harboring a grudge against a good red from vacqueyras from yesterday, because it ruined the tasting of a 2004 vinhedo chadwick today.

Attended the funeral of a close friend's son today. 21 years old. Very smart and talented guy, but addiction got the best of him. frown.gif
