Me too, but it's really because I'd rather be in the mountains, so I guess that doesn't describe you.

Seriously though, the idea of sitting somewhere hot and sandy does not appeal to me. Besides, I get bored. If I have a boat, I'm good. But just sitting on the beach does not appeal to me.

if it came between a journey to the Hamptons or visiting any European country, I'd do the latter.

if it came between a journey to the Hamptons or dealing with another sweltering Manhattan summer weekend, I'd do the former in a moment's notice.

Really? So you feel a final interview with an organization's CEO for a major position is a casual conversation and that the first words out of her mouth in this interview was an innocent question I misconstrued? I also do not think people usually get to be CEOs of major players in their fields by being pigheaded nor stupid. I figure they tend to be pretty sharp (which I think she was).

This is what she was quite clearly going for in my opinion and I think that's an arrogant thought.

Yep, Boys and Girls Club, Girl Scouts of the USA, and Heifer International are all a bunch of arrogant fucks.

Some of the most arrogant fucks I know work for or sit on the boards of nonprofits...so I'm going to agree with you.

Edit: Oh, and remember the position I was applying for? A hospice. It was a very loaded question and full of something I didn't like.

^ I get that. Sometimes even a well thought out and reasonably innocent question comes across telling you more than you need to know about how a "boss" will be like to work with.

I got stopped in the street today and some girl asked "do you mind if I ask a few questions about religion for my questionnaire?" I'm a fairly staunch atheist but I respect other people's religion so I agree. After about 20 minutes of her prattling on about the place of Jesus in society I interrupt her and ask if thereis actually a question. I then see that her clipboard is coved not with questions but bible passages.

I don't understand how these people think that lying to people to get them to hear fictional stories about a magic man is going to improve their church. I'm now significantly less tolerant of their bullshit because they took advantage of my goodwill in answering a questionnaire. It's like the least fucking Christian way to do this. Fuck religion.

Seriously, wtf AmEx? You require a number in the password, but then limit the special characters to "%&_?#=-" (what's wrong with @ or ( or ^ or . or spaces?)

and then your damn passwords ARE NOT EVEN CASE SENSITIVE!

I have a best buy card, a best buy.com account and a best buy rewardzone account. You guessed it, all three of them have different password requirements/restrictions.

I wanted to sit down first of the year and standardize my passwords across various types of websites as well as change to a new email address for logon's. I gave up as I could never seem to get the same password on like every 3rd site.

and dont insult the strength of my password, how about I insult the strength of your shitty security.

dont get me started on answering security questions......

I fucking hate this. You're the goddamn satellite tv company, I don't need a 16 character password with numbers to access your site, I'm not worried about somebody hacking my account and adding HBO to my subscription.

I love when I used to have to make up my own security question. "What is your password?" was one of my favourites.

I absolutely hate this shit, especially when its for an account I wouldn't even care if someone got to see. Not every account online is important enough to require special characters, pass codes, security questions, etc - even if your IT guy thinks it is.
